If only we could sell Iwobi and add Zaha... Coutinho it’s more like a dream.

Then this would be a awesome summer... from only getting Cech to this!

8m?

Just saw previous page. Basically a Kos replacement, more okay with that.

8m is a decent fee. Perfect That should give us room to go back for Uper when his contract has 1 year to run. 55m was a decent few turned down for a 20 something year old defender. Luis can slot in nicely. Knows the culture of the City and the history of changing camps and what is demanded. He is committed and has the required experience. Worked with Unai at PSG and is a big presence in the dressing room. He will gel nicely with the fierceness of Sokratis. Good addition.

8M is a brilliant deal, especially if it's only a two year deal. Obviously not the Upamecano we wanted but a good stop gap. He's good in the air, brilliant on the ball and crucially, can slot in straight away. For all the love the media shows Toby, Vertonghen and Sanchez, Chelsea conceded fewer goals than Sp**s last season and he played 36 league games!

He is in a much better position that Kos if we talk about injuries... Kos was excellent but he is prone to get injured with that Aquiles problem. And he wasn’t the best with ball... that’s why Per and him worked so well... Per did what Luiz could give us for 2 years.

8 M, great ****ing business from Raul again. Now in the summer we can splash our budget on a top cb to partner Saliba.

Was monstrous on that season right after he came back from PSG. Just hope he gets really thirsty for a final push in his career now - step up

Smart business if this comes off. Go back for Uper next year when we may hold the cards if he doesn't renew his contract. Short term this is fine.

£8m is a steal, Raul will f*ck him off to China when he is 35 for that money

In for another leaky season I see.

Well, Chelsea conceded 12 goals less last season and Luiz played over 3000 minutes for them so maybe a bit less leaky. We'll see. He's not more error prone than Mustafi and much much better with the ball so upgrade in that regard. We all hoped for better but as a short term solution, we could do much worse and have done much worse in the past
