Ceballos and Pepe both looked off the pace, but that's fine at this point. Auba, Willock, Xhaka and Geundouzi were all very solid, as was the entire defence tbh.

Main issue was a lack of spark in attack with Mikhi killing so many moves, Nelson not really able to do a whole lot and our general approach in attack just a bit pedestrian.

Chambers was so solid. My MOTM. Absolutely deserves a final shot at the Arsenal.

Other than that - a shout out to Emery for resisting to start the high profile newcomers. Their quality will come through, but quite clearly all of them - Pepe, Ceballos, Martinelli et al needs more time to get up to speed. A great call, and it takes balls to do that.

Nelson wasn't that great but Willock looked pretty good. AMN and Chambers had a good game. Should give new comers few more weeks to settle in.
