The cartel went up to Tyneside.

Raul definitely has a hangover from last night.

The technical director looking absolutely Presidential, there.

He will do well more than he does badly tbh, it’s just sad that his mistakes are usually so critical.

Maybe it’s the captaincy that’s making a difference?

Hopefully he’s switched on against Burnley and doesn’t make a mistake. I very much doubt it though since he always lacks concentration.

Player:Martinelli
Willock looked pretty average, a decent run in the first half but didn't do much afterwards.

Xhaka/Guendouzi looked very comfortable and ran the game.

Nice finish and good sharpness from Auba, obvious quality from him as usual.

Ceballos was bad when he came on but then grew into the game and we dominated as soon as he got comfortable, well ahead of Willock for that third CM spot.

Nelson is better than he showed today, was quite disappointed.

Pepe looked off the pace but some nice skill and good strength at times, that will improve as he gets fully match fit.

AMN was quality start to finish.

Martinelli looks raw but talented.

Assured performances from Leno, Monreal, Sokratis, Chambers.

Good away performance and very encouraging to have so many starters out and come away with 3 points anyway.

Chambers was solid, very encouraging performance. Was worried when I saw him in the lineup but he delivered.

Good performance considering all the injuries/unavailable players, can’t really complain much

Joelinton looked dreadful for them and that Almiron lad is a dirty cheat.

Gucci looked exciting though, although he’s got a poor end product.

Was really pleased with the defense today. At no point did I think the defensive performance should be set to Yakkity Sax. Very encouraging considering that Luiz, Tierney, Holding and Bellerin are yet to come.

Huss seems a shrewd operator but I can never fully trust someone who looks like the Yellow Bastard from "Sin City".
