They really are desperate:lol:

"An international agent has told one of his (top) players not to join Bayern after an offer came in. The club leadership had no strategy, no clear plan and could not show a proper perspective [for the player]. Via Spiegel and Focus".

Bayern are falling apart. They seriously missed to rebuild their squad with top players. Robbery was basically dribing around in a wheelchair these last seasons, Lewa, Müller and Neuer have been on a downward trajectory for a while now, Tolisso, Coman and Goretzka aren't all that, Sanches is a massive flop, Hernandez never worth 80m. They basically only got Alaba, Kimmich and Gnabry.

Their squad and backoffice structures are decrepit, they got a strawman as DoF in Brazzo, Rummenigge and Hoeneß are power drunk. Can really see Dortmund giving them a run for their money this season. More squad quality and depth plus a leader like Hummels at the back will definitely help them avoid slumps like last season.

Yeah, they will need time to get back on track. It's hard to find another players like Robben,Ribery,Muller,Neuer etc.

I still rate players in Bayern like Javi Martinez and maybe Sule.Lewa is good in Bundesliga, but not in top level in big CL games,so he can deliver in some ways. And those three that you mentioned.

No doubt that Dotmund has good chance to win it now.

Saw an interesting thread earlier on their incompetence:

Absolute shambles that club. This all has happened because of nostalgia and delusions of grandeur and arrogance. They still think they can offer less money than other clubs in this market and still sign top players because "mia san mia" - "we are Bayern". Doesn't work that way anymore. They've been complacent about coaches. Uli's and Karl-Heinz's hold on ultimate power has prevented them from bringing in a good DoF. Eberl from Gladbach has turned them down, so has Philipp Lahm, apparently Mislintat, too, Kahn initially only agreed to joining their Board once Rummenigge was gone but his arrival has been sped up.

Brazzo is as good as gone. Once Hoeneß is gone in November, Rummenigge will use the first opportunity to sack Kovac, too. Then Kahn will join in January. Will be interesting to see what happens after that, but this season is done for them already, I think.

Btw. VfB Stuttgart has just signed a 19 year old striker from Ligue 2 side Paris FC for 6 to 8m €. Apparently highly rated younster - a quick, physical dribbler. Hope Sven has brought in our Ousmane Dembele.

Can't believe Sanches is still at Bayern, didn't they refuse to sell him to Milan for 30+m at one point?

Don't know how much the offers were, but they refused to sell him multiple times. They refuse to acknowledge he's a massive 35m flop, which is why they don't sell but always talk about how he'll come good.

Really think as long as Hoeness und Rumenigge are at the helm at Bayern the DoF is just an Alibi-Position that they just fill for the lulz.

Yep. Feels kind of the same with Kahn. They're calling it a trial period so he can follow Rummenigge in 2021 as Board Director. Means until then he has no real job and Kalle is still in the driver's seat. He's also a complete newbie, never had an actual job in football until now. It'll be rough times for Bayern until 2021/22, I guess.

What are the best German Football Podcasts out there? I've been listening to Bundesliga Diaries which is nice and down to Earth (although a few terrible hot takes), gonna check out Talking Fussball as well. Any other good ones to check out?

Bayern all over Herttha, but Herttha are winning.

Coman rinsing their fullback... Bayern will win this in the end

Gnabry the best Bayern Player today... he looks so mature and well balanced... he has given so many final balls wasted by Coman and Tolisso.

He is the winger Iwobi will never be... and we lost him. He is going to have an awesome season.
