Chambers is a backup on this team (probably 4th choice once Holding is ready). I'd have been shocked had he been in the lineup today. Emery needs to get Luiz and Sokratis playing together and give them time before they start playing the likes of Liverpool and Sp**s.
Yes I would have Chambers play instead of Sokratis but it makes sense to have David Luiz and Sokratis get used to playing together.

Özil not being available is probably a blessing anyways. The energy in midfield would decrease a serious amount if he was in there.

Tbf Özil is pretty decent at home against defensive teams.

Looking forward to this game. Hope Pepe gets at least 30mins today.

Worrying having Laca and Auba in same line up. No striker backup and this is against orcs from Burnley. Tottenham and Liverpool our next two games. No idea what Emery is playing at but hopefully Raul steps in and either sell one of them or sack Emery ASAP.

Glad that Miki, Mustafi and Xhaka are not in the line up. That is a reason to smile!

Feels like I’ve been waiting for ages for good football, Bilbao-Barca was ass yesterday. Let’s win this and we can enjoy the rest of the football day with lots of chill

We talk about top four but I honestly have faith , we could ruffle serious feathers this season and surprise the premiership
Never mind ruffle, we want to pluck every one from this bird.

Ozils still probably shook about the whole gang attack business, either that or the DC United rumours have substance.

Pepe for Laca early on the second half. Expecting to see Toreirra too. Happy to see Martinelli getting a nod, he's definitely highly rated!

Van Persie in the BT studio. Arsenal have no philosophy under Emery yet apparently. Another ex player as a pundit.

He is right. We finished last season with zero identity which is a bit sad because last season should have been all about creating our identity.

Apparently we want to become some tactical chameleon under Emery, that is we can play multiple tactics and switch between them whenever we want too. If Emery is still on doing that he will probably be sacked very soon.
