Well, he ain't moving this season. But i hardly think he will get his contract extended the way things are going. Wonder who will be available this summer.

See chelsea and utd were super smart in appointing legends to manage the club in the same transition we currently have. Frank and ogs have galvanised the fans and the club and have the players somehow getting results. Even if and when it goes bad for those clubs the fans will get behind frank and ogs, its PR genius. We appointed a man with no ties to our club, emery is walking the plank.

Looking slightly forward we have to get Vieira. Monaco has ruined henry, bergkamp hasnt progressed, and freddie is not a icon enough IMO to take the reins and galvanise this club.

United and Chelsea is crap.

Emery Gone, Telly Back On
Nope but plenty of other mangers I'd rather see at Arsenal than someone who hasn't even coached a school team.

He was a candidate, that's why he gets mentioned.

Emery's getting Bellerin and Tierney back soon. Let's hope that gives us a push in the right direction.

Also, it'd be a welcome change if we finally found some continuity in our formations/tactics. It's a complete mess atm.

The guy has to go. The team starts every match looking like kids who just woke up in the bodies of footballers like f*cking Jumanji or something. Last year he rode his luck making random subs that bailed out his dreadful starting XI's in the 2nd half of matches. The "system" if it can even be called that changes every week which only serves to highlight the intellectual deficiencies of the dullards we have the grave misfortune of employing as defenders. I wanted Wenger out as badly as the next guy. This is an absolute affront to his legacy. Wenger on his worst day was better than this. 31 shots conceded against WATFORD. Not City, not Liverpool, not Barca, not Madrid. WATFORD. Raul either needs to arrange an orgy for Allegri or we all need to buy some ipecac and let Mourinho save the season because this clown will miss out on top 4 through sheer stupidity yet again.

The players need to do what the psg players did and go tell the board we dont play emerys way here. Football is played with the ball, with the odd exception when the other team is miles better than you, this dude wants to play with out it against every bloody team

He was a candidate sure, but it seems people are convinced he'd take over and suddenly all our defensive and attacking problems would go away. It's such a risk to sack him to hire someone with 0 experience (just my opinion) rather than wait till the end of the year.

Today was an absolute embarrassment and highlighted Emery's flaws, but as you say hopefully continuity will start once Holding, Bellerin and Tierney are back, however theres no guarantees.

Ideally I'd like to give Emery till the end of the season and if we finish top 4 but still have the same issues we move on to a new project with CL.

If he can really turn things around and fans start to see some philosophy and we finish 4th we can give him another year.

I think a midseason sacking should only happen if theres a solid solid manager in place and we see games similar to today.

Think Edu needs to be looking at this situation closely and forcing a change in the summer. A manager who manages Arsenal like we’re Burnley isn’t going to cut it.

Now if you have ever been in a stadium, you know that from any position around the pitch, you can see when a team is having trouble in the build-up. You could clearly see that after the first half hour, Watford started pressing more and more upwards when we had a goalkick. In the second half, Quique Sanchez Flores instructed his team to go from two to three players on the edge of the box, and one player each close to Guendouzi, Xhaka, Kolasinac and Ainsley.

Now I swear to you, you could have seem from the other side of the stadium that our build up was too risky, and it was a matter of time that it would go wrong. Now somebody please explain how the manager, who can clearly see what’s happening and knows how error prone his players are, does not intervene? Why does he not instruct his team to go long, and set them up to win the second ball? Even after the mistake, and the 1-2, we continued to play like that when it clearly was not working. What is this madness?

We were getting battered by Sp**s until Lacazette scored and changed the flow of the game.

Emery has had us watching Arsenal getting bossed every week for the last 12-15 months.

Every week we’re up against the wall getting shafted.
I’m sick of this guy, every game he manages us like we’re Almeria playing at Real Madrid away. Have to stop caring untill he’s gone.

There isn’t enough big characters in the club to do this.

Emery lives in fear, constantly chopping and changing line ups to defend against the opposition but never to install his own vision. He’s very much a poor man’s Mourinho but less toxic.
The toxic nature always brought up but thats after the honey moon period & a couple of trophies... I want that not this.
