We need a manager who speaks English and can communicate easily.. its vital. Pep and Klopp would not have had the same effect if they couldn't talk a word of English, and I don't think they would have even taken the roles either.
If its to be believed that a lot of the players can't understand Emery, then we should not make the same mistake again. Do you remember when Conte came to Chelsea and won the league? he said he deliberately made sure he had John Terry and Carlo Cudicini with him at all times because they are both fluent in English and can relay a lot of the messages of what he demands and wants of the players.. he said they were both vital for him.
A lot of people want Allegri, and yes he has done very well at Juventus, but how is his English, I don't know, I have no clue if he can speak English well or not, but if he can't then I fear it could be the same problems.
This doesnt seem to come into much consideration. The clubs that have the managers other clubs want will be very reluctant to let them go mid season. Unless you're going for a lower ranked manager like Howe that may never get this chance again you're effectively up against a brick wall enticing a better manager from a successful project into an unsuccessful project.
So the club claim Raul & Mourinho haven't spoken for years.
The club have moved to quash widespread reports on Sunday morning that Sanllehi had met Mourinho for dinner, telling PA that no such meeting took place, and that the pair have not spoken for years.
We know that's not true because we saw Mourinho with Raul at a game a few weeks ago. You cant sit together for 90 mins, probably have drinks before the game and a meal after and not talk to each other unless you are married!

Wenger does not define the club or its values. He simply oversaw a very important period of the club and because of that his legacy is set in stone. However, Arsenal is under no obligation to continue on his philosophy when it clearly stopped working in the second half of his career here. Moving forward, we cannot take every decision based on how it will impact Wenger’s legacy.
Alright Man Utd. And even then Ole had experience albeit terrible experience and he shouldnt have got that job.I thought I could just about stomach Jose, but after consideration I just can't bring myself to do it.
We are not in a good position, there really aren't any outstanding candidates available at the moment. I would give it Freddie until the summer and see who is available then if Freddie doesn't succeed.
This guy knows what is up!You cant sit together for 90 mins, probably have drinks before the game and a meal after and not talk to each other unless you are married!
I've also re-evaluated. We won't recover from the damage he essentially ensures over a 3 year period. It is the same everywhere he goes, win for a short while then the wheels come off and the club goes into absolute meltdown. We are not in a safe place to try..I thought I could just about stomach Jose, but after consideration I just can't bring myself to do it.

Just because some people don’t want Jose, it doesn’t make them ‘Wenger loyalists’. You’re obsessed with Jose.

well I don't think it's true.
chelsea stayed one of the best team in the PL after he left the first time, and players like lampard, terry drogba makélélé, essien, were like his legacy. they were typical mourinho players and even after he left his impact was still visible through those players.
inter was a different situation, it was an old team that wasn't going anywhere in the near future, it was a oneshot, most of his best players were at the end of their careers.
then Real Madrid, he's built the foundations that allowed them to win 4 CL.
chelsea the 2nd time, they've won the title under Conte just after he left.
has he ruined Man Utd? I don't think so tbf, they're still the same mediocre team they were before he got there.
Woodward is a clown and has failed to build a competitive team and a positive atmosphere.
You're wrong. Net spend is totally irrelevant and tells you nothing. From 2013 until Wenger’s last season, we had a much bigger net spend than Chelsea.
It’s a myth that Wenger didn’t spend money. We didn’t spend from the stadium move until about 2013, but a lot was spent (relatively speaking) before that and after that.
At that game, it wasn't Raul. This is different angle:So the club claim Raul & Mourinho haven't spoken for years.

I don't think the club would be stupid enough to appoint Mourinho. There's been a problem with bums on seats since the Wenger divide got nasty. At that game, it wasn't Raul. This is different angle:
You'd been doing so well recently, ffs. You're wrong. Net spend is totally irrelevant and tells you nothing.
Team A sells a player for £100m and buys two players at £50m. The net spend is £0
Team B has a player leave on a free and buys two players at £50m. The net spend is £100m that year
But both teams have added the same.
What shows you the difference is the overall cost of the 25 players in the squad and Chelsea have been much higher every year. Even this year winding down the Chelsea squad is still in the top 4 and most years in the top 3. This is why City, United and Chelsea have carved up the league between them since 2004.
2019/20
1 City £1014m
2 United £751m
3 Pool £639m
4 Chelsea £561m
Arsenal were in the bottom half of the league for much of Wenger's reign and rose to 5th in 2016/17. This puts into perspective how good Wenger was.
It's a real shame our fans never understood, even in 2010 they were berating him for not challenging for the league. Crazy, he was operating at Stoke level spending.

Appointing a rival team's manager in the same city, particularly one who tried to publicly humiliate our team and manager, would be inviting more problems. Not sure some of our foreign fans understand this.
