Have to say I'm getting a little worried about Pepe.
With his outstanding technique, dribbling pace and vision he should be tearing it up BUT his intensity off and on the ball is really worrying. Is he even trying to score? Looks like he is kicking it around a bit in the park with his mates on a sunday afternoon. He is never trying to get in there, turning quickly and isolating his man 1vs1. Instead he receives the ball in a contested area, turns into 3 or 4 players then loses it after beating one or two most of the time. Meh.

Don't pay too much attention to what our players are doing or not doing, their intensity levels or movement etc. We are currently playing as a team which has given up. Clearly the players have lost faith in Emery. Every single player looks like ****. A typical sign when the believe is gone. Like all things in life, you can't do anything to a decent level if you believe it won't work anyway.

Yeh when you see someone like Lacazette (who is always up for the fight intensity wise) turning his back to open play like he did vs Palace then you know something is up.

We would get a fair judgement of Pepe and Ceballos with a new manager.

But have you noticed he is always getting doubled up on? He is never being put into dangerous scenarios... there is no movement to his left or in front of him. He is always forced to pass back into midfield, cross from a poor position or attempt to take on two players at once.

Everything is so static, its why our creative midfielders and wingers are looking terrible right now.

Because of the way we are playing right now I think Pepe is actually suited to playing on the left hand side, because he is recieving the ball so far away from their goal that he is always on his weak foot, unable to cut in and shoot

He’s looked a bit sh*t but you’ve got to blame Emery for a lot of this.

Plays him 90 against Palace after his goals against Vitória and he does ok. Goals came from his set pieces but he didn’t cause much trouble in behind.

Then he leaves him out two games in a row, comes in tonight and looks total ****. He’s basically iced him.

Yeah I really don’t get Bumnai’s treatment of Pepe. Thought he was actually 1 of our better players vs Palace. Was expecting him to really kick on from there. There’s no reason for him to have been dropped for the following 2 games.

Something isn’t right when he has three men on him, yet none of our other forwards seem to be in any space!

Think Emery is a bad coach for him, needs a confidence raiser like Arsène.

Few managers in the game who can unlock the talent of an attacking player like Wenger, would go as far as to say he brings out the maximum in creative players.

Emery in comparison is a criminal.

Must have been a joy to play for as an attacking/creative players, the amount of player’s careers that were kind of stalling that he got to world class level was amazing...loved every minute of Wengerball, but definitely took it for granted in hindsight.

Maybe they don't believe but it's unacceptable for players to not give 100% each match, even if they don't believe in the coach.

You can say it's unacceptable, but we saw Hazard in his prime do the same when he was done with Mourinho. He just stopped trying and looked like ****. Even Pogba last season did the same thing. When the best players start losing belief and respect for the manager, it's all over.

Has some decent corners, but in actual open football looks very erratic and rushed, hence why he is not scoring from open play or even coming close. BUT this manager is an absolute joke, and everyone looks bad this season, I want to see Pepe under another manager.

Really can't make a good judgment. Him and Ceballos both started lively and are now playing completely within themselves. Nobody is playing well. Unai really is an awful manager.

Very difficult to judge Pepe right now, he clearly has certain abilities but he looks completely lost out there, he has carried his African Nations form into our season.

The most worrying thing for me is that his abilities are usually something you can draw on when a team is going through a rough patch, Kane for example will struggle if he is not getting the service but someone like Pepe you would think would be able to just go back to basics instincts and just run at and beat people but he doesn't even seem to be comfortable doing that.

He/we really need to get that new manager bounce and input before half the squad cant recover the form.

Sooner or later even Auba will stop scoring, his general play is already suffering.

He has moments were his dribbling is amazing...if Auba and Laca can get scoring again and we can sort out the midfield set up, even if Pepe doesn’t put up numbers he can still be a great out-ball for us like Hleb was...

...think a more man manager of a coach will bring the best out of Pepe, still very happy we have him.

Bamba only has a goal + couple of assists so far this season as well. Looks like Lille & this duo were just stretching teams.

The good thing is easy to sort. Signing a 70m wide play & not having another senior wide player on the otherside tragic planning really.

I don't doubt he will eventually come good its just frustrating.

It also looks pretty clear he won't be coming good under Emery and I hope we don't write off Pepe's season while he remains in charge.
