We‘re really going to sign a poor mans Emery as Emery‘s replacement. This club is finished.

To Everyone Except Arteta
I'd rather have Emery stay on than having ****ing Arteta as manager ffs. Wtf were some folks smoking wanting that unproven and over-hyped rookie?Mediocre player and has zero experiencing managing any club, let alone a big club like ours. Just because Pep and his City buddies constantly overhype him doesn't make him a genius of a manager. We can't afford to take any chances anymore. I'd rather have Trapattoni coaching us on a wheelchair than ****ing Arteta.

The club need to sort it out asap either now or for the summer. Otherwise Auba and Laca will walk for nothing.

Less of a denial than I expected.

His interviews remind me of Klopp a bit. Could see him being well received & giving the team a backbone. Hope we do the deal.

He certainly has a presence about him, a lot more than Emery, I mean probably isn't hard but still. You get the sense that he wouldn't be a walkover like Emery and would be a proper leader. None of this voting for captains or 5 captains nonsense. Or the stuff with Özil where he's not playing for ages and then is an guaranteed starter again all of a sudden.

I can't make up my mind about Nuno. When I look at the way he likes to play, his record vs lower teams, I get the distinct impression Wolves is his level. One of those managers who excels when being the underdog, moving him up to a bigger club be too big a gap for him to bridge.

On the other hand he seems to know exactly how he likes to set up his team, seems a great communicator. Also seeing there aren't many appealing managers available to us at the moment.

That’s a bizarre answer from Nuno, doesn’t really deny much....could be something in this.

Think the fans would really warm to Nuno, has a spark about him.

If we do get him, it’s back to Don Raul for me at least :bounce:

Another medicore guy with poor defensive record makes sense. Would be amazing with our half baked squad as well.

Once Auba moves out we will get into wolves level.

Arsenal Quotes

In June 1996, David Dein, Peter Hill-Wood and Danny Fiszman came out to Nagoya to meet me on behalf of Arsenal. Within an hour we came to an agreement. The Japanese directors didn't try to keep hold of me in the usual way but talked with persuasive arguments... But as far as I was concerned, the decision was taken. Arsenal. A decision that would change my life.
