We can talk to & agree a contract now with any of Thiago Silva, Cavani, Meunier & Kurzawa.

Tempting amount of talent for desperate English clubs.

Tbh could see the sense in a free short term deal if you can shift Kolasinac but 5 years just looks ridiculous.

You want to believe the Kurzawa stuff is fake news, but you just know that the shady ***** Raul agreed the deal behind PSG's back.

Exactly. Remember Man City complaining we didn't bother contacting them about Arteta for ages after we were in talks

He could be a good signing, time will tell - what I don't get is if we're so committed (5 year deal) why not just pay the £ to get him now? What will it cost...a few million tops and we're short in that area (due to letting our decent left back leave).

Imagine signing a deadwood player from a farmers league on a 5 year contract. Oh wait....

This guy will almost certainly turn out to be a mistake, he'll likely have two or three good games in his time here with the rest being a letdown.

Can't help but think Kurzawa transfer has the feel that might turn into a leach that just picks up salaries and we can't get rid of.

Similar to how Adebayor was hanging around City and then Sp*rs for many years.
They couldn't ship him out quick.
Don't get the point of it at all... we have 2 first choice LB's with Saka and AMN also able to do a good job there.

I hope we don't sign anyone, so Arteta can push on with moulding existing players into new roles, or improving them in their current ones. We aren't getting relegated and we aren't winning anything, so no better time to sort out who is worth keeping and who must be moved on in summer.
