Great flowing game for Arsenal in the first half with Joe Willock miles ahead of their midfielders.
Douzi putting a great performance in the second half with smart movements and dribbles.
My top 3 players last night
Joe Willock
Ayo Saka and
Guendouzi

Happy the team came out without any injury as the game became quite physical with hulk like tackles flying in.

Its for your own good that I don't G.

Our chance creation remains so poor, resorting to counter attacking play as our chief strategy.

Need some midfielders in the summer.

It’s not a chief strategy. We’re forcing more errors by increasing our intensity and creating fewer, but better quality chances as a result. The possession will come, but first we need confidence and a work ethic.

.........aaaaaand on to Friday Brunch in Dubai. Hopefully without the getting drunk on unlimited fizz, forgetting where you are and having sex on the beach part at the end.

Let's have a good break.

It was the chief strategy on the night, and yes it was developed from forcing errors. This is exactly how Liverpool play their game as well.

Like you say however the creativity will come. That comes from a combination of cohesion and incoming players. What I am happy about though is that we are able to play this sort of game and be effective... Added quality recruits will really give us an extra dimension.

Good display tonight, clear... effective... signs of some good work done behind the scenes.

Sting's whole schtick was basically him getting betrayed by people:rofl:(Except when he became the silent crow for a year)
Watched the Royal Rumble?

Was great seeing Edge again, he looked close to tears during his entrance at one point...great scenes.

Yeah he was overwhelmed by the crowd's admiration. Men's rumble's booking was near perfect. Women's one was good as well except for the winner but they could still make it work

He's a ****ing prick to be fair. Always looking for a foul and going down easy and surely doesn't mind to nag some ankles himself.

I'm afraid this trend will go too far.
Most of the opposition crowds seem to get a grudge on him very quick, the refs allow some nasty tackles against him and he could be on receiving end of a horrible challenge.

Wow ... so many negative responses on twitter to this message!! Jeez man the clue is in our stadium name....why the hell are people getting butt hurt

So is this break in effect just a break without the actual games? The players will still be training throughout the two weeks?

Tbf with the position we're in, any chance to have Arteta spend more time with them on the training ground is fine with me.

I don't disagree with that, just that I thought with the foreign winter breaks they actually get proper time off during the two weeks whereas ours doesn't seem to be that way.

FA Cup replays take place during that break. I think that for most other teams it's just a break from competitive games, but it's up to the clubs whether to have players train or not. Obviously, they ought to train most days.
