When at Madrid, pretty much every player worked for Ronaldo to increase his output.
Benzema, in his best years, could've done 25+ goals a season easily, but he put up service for Ronaldo constantly.

Ronaldo has to thank a lot of players that did all to make him look better. At Madrid, everyone worked for him, that's almost unique as compared to other clubs.

That being said, Ronaldo could not stand a second of it going any other way.

Benzema is one of the best, if not THE best striker of the 2010s for me, superb player for Madrid...not as his best anymore though, Auba might have a last chance of finally getting his dream Madrid move at this point.

Played central, played wide, scored in derbies, big games, massive CL games, started for every manager etc.

One of the greats. Biggest compliment you can give him is that you feel he left it all on the table, I’m not sure Benzema could do more. 4 CL titles ffs.

Not a fan of Benzema. Can't believe he's lasted so long at Madrid. There is a reason that they have won nothing since C. Ron left and France started to win things since dropping Benzema. He's good, but Aubameyang pushes them up a notch.

Mind boggling, my ass.
He has 162 goals in almost 11 years of playing for Real. Considering the level of quality and service he had there, his numbers should have been way higher for an elite striker, as some of you guys make him out to be.
By comparison, Higuain has 107 goals in his 6 year stint at Real and in his first two seasons he scored a total of 10 goals.
Benzema is good, but he's never been a great striker that can carry a team.
He's got good technique and link up play, but isn't the dog's bollocks material and never will be.

He had all the potential in the world. It's funny that at one stage Pato seemed to be the best young striker and Benzema and Aguero seemed to be the other two stand outs. Pato fell of the face of the earth, Aguero became the best and Benzema won the most despite being nowhere near Aguero ability wise.

You don’t last 10 years at Real under multiple managers and battle with other strikers without being at full potential and a star. I think he gave all he could in terms of potential.

Would be a bigger “star” if he was at Arsenal or Liverpool etc where there are no other great players, at Real there is a new star born every season.

6/7 league titles in his career, 4 CL’s, one of the greatest CV’s in the history of the game.
