The melting pot that England has somewhat become will see a lot of 'non traditional' first and surnames in the future.

It should be great for the national teams talent pool.

I imagine how Saka progress's over the next few years will determine which nation he selects.

England has been a melting pot forever, it's just the coaches have always been the typical working class xenophobes like @rich 1990 so only now are we seeing immigrant diaspora making it because the coaches are becoming more diverse.

England could've had a team like France decades ago but the coaches just wanted the typical Gary's and Ian's to make it and not the Mohammed's and Vlad's.

England have promoted plenty of black players over the years

Hopefully he picks Nigeria. They have some interesting young talents coming up. He won't be appreciated on the English national team. They'll try to make him into a kick and hope player, running around like a headless chicken. Plus the English media are always so toxic and would def throw an Arsenal player under the bus when things go wrong before a Man United, Chelsea or Liverpool player.

Yep, I know Andy Cole was playing the same time as Alan Shearer but he is the third highest goal scorer in the Premier League and he only gained 15 caps for England scoring 1 goal. He’s not really talked about today despite his accomplishments. Can’t help but feel if he were white he would be appreciated more.

Starting to get excited about Bukayo. He's got that calm, composure, and quality to make the right decision in the final third that Gnabry always showed at his age, and which is difficult to teach. Thrilled to see him performing so well as a more attacking player. Was worried after Lucassen's somewhat strange comments that he didn't have a future there but he and Arteta have certainly left those comments looking rather out of place to this point.

This kid is top class. It's rare you see a kid so young that is so mature. His decision making is top class, he makes everything look so simple. The kid can play anywhere, but would like to see him eventually as a LCM in a 433. Him and KT delivering crosses from the left would be immense.

Still think he can easily play everywhere upfront

Wasn't happy to see him on the RW again but he did extremely well in that 1st half. Some really good play in the final 3rd.
Its doesn't matter for him he still preforming he start to look like Sancho only up to him now to keep improving

I hope he chooses Nigeria too. He'll have competition on that left but he'll be in the team and at least have a realistic chance of winning a continental competition and going to the World Cup.

Saka on the left, Chukwueze on the right with Ndidi, Etebo and Aribo in midfield with Osimhen upfront...

Doesnt look as comfy there, I hope Pepe is ready for the next game. Looking forward to seeing more of him in a more forward position.
