Hopefully he starts strong and carries the form after the restart into the new season.

Is this for real? This guy only played a handful of games.

Very very welcome addition/retention. Obviously he won’t fix the midfield for good but at least now it’s so much more easy to breath knowing that any upcoming midfield upgrades may drag on to the end of the window while we can still field a competitive starting XI.

Happy to see him back. He went up several notches when Arteta joined and especially after the restart. He is technically good and he is hard-working. If he is committed he will be an important player for us and i have a feeling he will stay for good if we have a good season.

Another terrible presentation btw. Didn't need to do much since we know him already but come on. This and Gabriel contenders for the worst presentations of the summer.

Where's that petition to sack that fat piece of sh!t admin. Imma sign it right now.

If this is what Furious is furious about... I think we’re doing pretty good.

He'll only have 1 year left on his deal, shouldn't be too expensive unless he's dumb enough to sign an extension thinking they'll give him a chance.

According to Transfermarkt his has contract until 2023. They wouldn't loan him if he hadn't 3 years.

Real has all the cards. We just want a good player for cheap for a tough season, and anything more is a bonus.

Like FinnGooner said, we need him fast, midfield isn't looking good.

Good stuff. Glad he’s back, although I’d prefer if we could make it permanent.

Two big midfield signings to go..

Was up and down during the earlier part of last season, and then became more reliably good during the final few matches, which makes him coming back to build on that progress something to really look forward to. Not really so bothered if he becomes a permanent signing later on. If it happens it happens. He’s going to contribute regardless.

Great news. Someone is finally beginning to fulfill that Cazorla sized hole in midfield.

Wonderful player, backed him up from the start. He'll only get better under Arteta which is a shame as I think he'll eventually get his chance at Real.
