Laca with more pace is a good one, but increase Luiz' motivation.

Feel Big Dave's main let down is that he struggles to motivate himself in "lesser" games, he would be one of the best defenders in the world imo, if he could treat every game like a cup final.

Transforming Xhaka into a physiological specimen would transform the midfield.

Giving Mustafi a brain would be nice on the defensive side of things too.

Too many options and possibilities. Basically all the possibilities.

Mustafi + composure = World Class Cb

Lacazette + pace = Top class/World class CF

Auba + dribbling = Almost prime CR7

Bellerin + crossing = Rich man's TAA

Ceballos + athleticism = best box to box CM I can think of

The Mustafi one would be very tempting, if not that then I'd go with Bellerin or Ceballos.

League is very weak
Auba better on the ball is the obvious one. Look at Martial in recent months, his hold up, link up play and dribbling has been flawless in recent months. Auba is not at those levels.

After looking across our squad's strengths and weaknesses, your conclusion is that the one genuinely world class player, who'd start over any other in his position the league and scored 40% of the team's goals, needs to be more like Anthony Martial?

Make it make sense.

Definitely would give Lacazette more athleticism. If he could actually make a run/get a yard on a defender he'd be a competent number 9.

Resisting the temptation to highlight players with the more obvious flaws here... But Laca with blistering pace probably gives us more than if you added something to anyone else.

Could say giving Xhaka pace would transform his game but in reality it’d be like giving Jimmy Savile the power of invisibility.
