Pepe-----------------------Willian--------------------------Saka

--------------------------Aubameyang---------------------------

Either one of Elneny or Xhaka can drop in to make a third CB when out of possession, allowing Bellerin and Elneny to push up and Saka/Pepe to tuck in.

Pepe can do exactly what Auba has doing on the left but on the right. Auba can do what Laca hasn't been doing from the centre. With Willian in the hole, there's no need for him to play with his back to goal.

This seems to be a pretty formidable team, but I doubt Arteta would go with Auba up top and not from the left. Another point would be to stick with the 5 at the back while defending and 4 while attacking. Seems to work for us

I like this a lot. Also an interesting point you made about Pepe. In what's become a bit of a signature move, we build up on the right and find Auba out wide on the left for him to do his stuff. Im sure we could do something similar on the left, and give it to Pepe on the right.

Pepe is a good finisher. He needs a sustained run in the team. His performance against Chelski in the FA Cup final was his best to date IMO. He was involved throughout the entire game and made a telling contribution for the winner.

Keep CBs the same. At least you know what you're getting with Holding. Luiz is Maldini one minute, and Squillaci the next.

And please play Pepe, Mikel, He was just getting into his stride at the end of the season and there's goals in there. Keep Willian for the Europa league and FA Cup matches.

Just kidding, we're ****ing **** and we'll lose miserably. Auba will probably score at least 2 as he's up against absolute garbage on his side of the pitch and we'll also concede from a long shot, probably from a youngster due to Moyes' philosophy of simply not playing football but rather erecting medieval fortifications in front of goal.

That’s just depressing to read.

League is very weak
Arteta was excellent for Moyes at Everton. Thank god Wenger signed him and made him an Arsenal man, we have one of the best coaches around now.

Anyway. West Ham should get battered. Won’t be that easy, they’ll raise their performance against Arsenal I guess and play with some freedom with nothing to really lose.

I think their minds will be on their other schedule. If anything they'll play for a draw because they have to city, Liverpool, Sp**s, Chelsea, wolves Leicester in the next few weeks and it's not like they'll have a lot of rest either.

A massive signing looking back, Arteta saved the club when he took over as manager really and it wouldn't have happened if he never played here...Big Wengz did it again!

Excited to watch us again ngl.

Got a feeling we could see 4 at the back. Need that extra man to break down Moyes bus.

Leno
Bellerin - Luiz - Gabriel - Tierney
Elneny - Xhaka
Pepe - Willian - Auba
Laca

But we will probably play 343 to create an overload again with AMN at LWB.

Always a little worried going into a game when the media/fan expectation is we are going to smash a team.
