Would be slick business. He was a good free signing at the time and we’re getting some money for him even though it hasnt worked out..

With the current market as it is yes but I think it is worth noting that Kola seems to have taken a hefty wage cut which made this possible.

Yeah, you got to respect that.

Maybe he could have word with his mate about this as well!!

Would you rather keep Kola and AMN as "left back backup"? Or would you rather sell the pair for around £40-45M and get a proper left back in plus have cash for Partey? No brainer for me to sell both and balance the squad further.

Absolutely, should've sold AMN along with Kola, squad stands to gain much more with Partey than with AMN. A back-up LB to Tierney could've been sorted at little cost.

Hopefully when/if Kola leaves so too will Arsenal fans obsession with having 'hard men' in the team. Fans loved Kola when he came just cos they'd perceived Wenger's players of the preceding decade as being weak and here was a guy who definitely isn't weak, and has it helped? Not a jot. Being hard might be useful in some situations in professional sport but without quality it really doesn't count for anything.

Some cavemen on here were championing giving Kola away on a free last week or even loaning him and subsidising his wages. Thank goodness that we have Big **** Vinai sorting transfers.

Any posts which have me talking negatively about Vinai, please delete them ,mods...

Just because Kola didn't fit in here doesn't mean he is a bad player.
People thinking this is a lottery are

Hearing Raul left the groundwork for this deal with Leverkusen, including the transfer fee. Our corrupt fat spaniard with a massive burrito still delivering!

Could imagine we are playing our B-Team tomorrow and we want to rest Tierney after his injury. So Kola could play his last game as LCB.
