We bid the max we could for Aouar hoping that Lyon will budge in the end. They didn’t. What is there more to do? Do you really think it’s more likely scenario that Edu just decided that ”**** this I ain’t paying €50m for Aouar despite having the money and license to spend it?” Why would he do that?
Look dude, do the math. Our management has gone through multiple changes over the last few years and every summer it’s still the same thing: our deals drag on because we won’t pay what’s asked, we go after free signings even of it means paying high wages to them and instead of buying on need-basis, we go after big name players who we can get for cheap.
Different management, same ****. Who’s the common denominator? Edu? Or maybe Stan?
