Either we get our first choice signing ( Aouar ) or we should sit out the rest of the window.
No point throwing money around in panic mode on players that are not first choice signings. We've done that way too much over recent years and are still struggling to get some of them out the club.
It's easy to blame the negotiators or financially guys, If they're as bad as everyone claims why aren't we venting our fury at the guy who keeps employing failures?
So all business we will do is bending like a **** for Simeone and loaning out our 30M CB for second year in a row while keeping Mustafi Chambers and Sokratis at the club.
****ed it, we've absolutely ****ed it.
We couldn't sign Aouar in instalments, no chance we can pay Parteys clause in one go.
Can already see us panic digging in the midfield bargain bin on monday.
I guess that Arsenal was never really serious about signing Aouar. It was probably the cheapest opportunity with no other big clubs involved because of the situation., so it was really a case of doing a 55-60 millions bid which never came.
At what point do we start questioning our 'top 6' status? We've comfortably fallen behind the rest of the other 'top 6' clubs, that's for sure. On paper we are behind or at the very most on par with Wolves/Leicester/Everton.
