I like Richards but he has had a mare there...he literally could have picked any of our other defenders and been right, but he picks our one quality one ffs

Why so serieuse?
He was too far away from sterling to make the block. Shouldn't have let city outnumber us in the box, and the goal wasn't the only time it happened either.

Micah Richards has come out and had a dig at Gabriel.

Does Micah know just how naturally sh!t at football he himself was?

Micah Richards is a giggling fool wtf does he know, needs to stick to being comic relief and leave the football discussions.

League is very weak
Here’s the issue, English pundits don’t watch European football. Richards is asking if Gabriel is the “right standard”, what he’s really saying is “why didn’t Arsenal sign a big name we know for 70M”. He then could’ve sucked us off for showing great ambition and signing this great top player.

Richards can’t break down Gabriel or tell us any weaknesses or issues because he’s only watch Gabriel maybe one or twice in full 90 minutes.

Both Micah Richards and Sol were poor pundits but for different reasons. Micah spouted nonsense, seems to be winging it half the time and Sol talks sense but struggled to articulate his points.

Out of all the new sky sports pundits I'm really enjoying evra.

It called smart scouting Kosh wasn't even PL midtable standard when we sign him after one year he became our key defender and teams like Bayern PSG wanted him.

A lot of these pundits just feed off what their colleagues say than actually researching or watching players for themselves. Arsenal are known to have below average CBs (The uncoachables as Gary Neville put it), so that means if Arsenal concede a goal, the blame automatically goes to them. If you actually watch the goal City scored, there are about 4 players you can blame before even looking at Gabriel or even Luiz. Cellabos gets sucked in by the pass made by Mahrez, Xhaka is too slow to get back, Bellerin gets beaten too easily by Foden and Leno parries the goal back to Sterling. 4 errors by 4 different players but the narrative shifts the blame on our centre backs.

It was a pity that Jose got another job in football, he was on a different planet than the other pundits. Someone who actually knows football on a tactical level, compared with people like Souness, who must be the most dour man in football.

Hopefully he'll get sacked at Sp**s, and back in the studio.

I was impressed at how well he knew the profiles of our new signings last summer.

Completely nailed it too. He’s not my type of manager but yeah as a pundit he had excellent insight, he should be managing though.
