He surely is one of the brightest talents among managers and he does get his teams to overperform. Even with last night's result, just look at Leipzig's squad: There is an abundancy of talent but these guys are still pretty young, Poulsen and Sörloth are not Timo Werner who was perfect for their style, and most senior players aren't actually that good. I'd say Sabitzer is the only senior player I'd label "top class", Forsberg has been cut down by chronic injuries, and guys like Kampl, Orban, Gulacsi or the already mentioned Poulsen are all a bit meh. The rest of that team is basically a U23 at this point.

But overall he should probably stay at Leipzig, develop and mature this young team and actually win a Bundesliga title before going abroad. In contrast to Hoffenheim where it's about making the team overperform and stay in the midtable regions, a task Nagelsmann had clearly outgrown, this Leipzig thing has a clear trajectory and goal - winning the BL - and imo Nagelsmann should show he can end that project successfully before thinking about other things.

I think Hwang is a top player tbf. He really impressed me at RB Salzburg in the CL last year.

Why did Pep sell Angelino? He has been so good for Leipzig who won well today. Hertha and Union win as well, while Schalke and Stuttgart draw. Der Klassiker now!
