At one stage, Kondogbia looked a huge talent. He's regressed since his Monaco days though.

Mbappe and fabinho aside are there that many fron that golden team that have gone on to do well?

Football is a crazy game, all that talent and nearly all forgotten about

Does indeed make some sense for them. Chiellini is out of contract next summer, Bonnucci over 30 and Demiral and de Ligt both U23. On the other hand Bonnucci wants to play and Demiral as well as De Ligt both have starting aspirations and need game time. Really depends on if they plan to play with a back three regularly. Then again if they really want to start pushing for a CL title adding someone with the quality and polyvalence of Alaba is definitely needed.

The other big clubs I could see being in for Alaba are Liverpool, where he'd make a lot of sense as a) a leftie and b) an immediate van Dijk replacement of immense quality who down the line can play alongside either VVD and Gomez as well as be useful at leftback and in central midfield; and Real Madrid who will at some point definitely need to add quality to their backline and find a fitting replacement for Ramos, at least in terms of quality.

Dyballa as a false 9 here would be incredible, but he screams Barcelona or United.
