We should be winning this absolutely. Absolutely serious questions will have to be asked if we lose this one. Losing to Villa and Leeds in successive games would be unforgiveable, 4 losses in 5 or 5 in 7 would be absolutely catastrophic stuff and should warrant Arteta's sacking tbh. Surely we'd be reaching unprecedented territory in terms of number of losses in a short period if that were to happen.

This isn't a complicated game. It will probably become about Arteta sticking to his principles and trying to get one over Bielsa tactically, which will make the game based on small margins and have us on the back foot.

Pick a team that can win races. Xhaka, Ceballos and Lacazette running towards our own goal just results in fouls and losing battles. We do not need superior quality everywhere. We have it in our forward line.
Nelson, Auba, Pepe, Saka, AMN, Willock, Bellerin. Pick one of Ceballos and Xhaka. Luiz, Gabriel, Leno. 8 out of those 10 outfield players wins us races.

Will be p!ssed if Arteta starts Willian after his unsanctioned Dubai trip. Being hard on players that don't tow the line would obviously be meaningless drivel.
Pepe cost £72m, why can't the club give the guy a break and help get him into his stride. He's been treated like a leper.

I haven't posted since our loss to aston villa. I remember when I would look forward to the next arsenal game with joy. Now I'm filled with dread. We're playing the most boring football and losing matches.
I really hope over the international break arteta has had time to reflect on the way we're playing. I've never seen a team so out of ideas in the final third.

People won't like this but Willian has to play imo. He is the one of the only players that can play between the lines. Id go Saka-Willian-Pepe behind Auba, although its likely Saka will get a rest. If that's the case, Nelson/Eddie should come in.
Both Pepe and Willian need players to combine with, they don't do well when they're isolated. Want to see both playing.

If Arteta persists with Auba-Lacazette-Willian and the 343 then questions have to be asked imo. We are the second worst team in the league in terms of chance creation, that simply isn't good enough.

More Consistent Than Arteta
The front three of Auba, Laca and Pepe is amazing. Auba can poach goals and shoot from distance, Laca can be a nuisance in the box and get a shot away in close spaces, Pepe can dribble and slice open defences..
the problem is midfield .. you need 3 midfielders supporting them. Otherwise its just a gaping hole behind them. Arteta has married the worst of two systems.... discarding a hard working midfield which supports the wingers and discarding the speedy striker through the middle for counterattacks.
