Burnley, southampton should be 6 points.. Everton are in poor form, Brighton are not good either. That fixture list is pretty good for us considering the circumstances...

You are grossly overestimating the mettle of most of those cowards currently wearing the shirt. Save for a few who have some honour, the rest are a stain on every memory of every great player in this grand old club.

Taking a look at our fixtures it looks like the next 9 games (Chelsea excluded) would be games we'd "typically" expect to get results from (in a bygone era you could say).

I do think Arteta could possibly turn it around in this run, but a lot will rest on the Burnley and Southampton games (possibly Everton too).

I've done a little prediction from these games, this is optimistic btw and even then it looks like we're bang on for a mediocre end to the season:

13/12/20: Burnley at home (W)
16/12/20: Southampton at home (D)
19/12/20: Everton away (Surprise W and reversion to sh!thousery for this game)
26/12/20: Chelsea at home (D)
29/12/20: Brighton & Hove Albion away (D)
02/01/21: West Bromwich Albion away (W)
12/01/21: Crystal Palace at home (W)
16/01/21: Newcastle United at home (W)
27/01/21: Southampton (L)

18 from 27 and 31 from 20 games, which means even being positive we'd still probably end up in the 50 range at the end of the season.

If we reached something like 65 points then Arteta would really have performed a miracle lol.

Couldn't ask for a better set of games to pick up points.

Burnley have two games in hand, and everyone else below has one. The game against Chelsea I don't have much hope. Then we've got Sam Allardyce's West Brom in two weeks.

We're in a relegation fight during the Christmas/New years period. This needs to be taken seriously.

Yeah we need minimum 12/15 points in our next 5 games, or with the confidence at rock bottom we are in real danger of going down.. Yikes.

the 10 games after Newcastle at home I only see 2 easy games and a couple of 50/50's, that's a difficult run.
