Manchester City - Blue Moon

It is said that Man City fans often sing blue moon to cheer themselves up. The first time when it was sung was at the opening game of the 1989-90 season at Liverpool. Some Man City fans sang a sort of melancholic version when Man City was down, and it caught on in later days. Now Blue Moon has been a surname of Manchester City.

West Ham have two nicknames, 'The Irons ' or 'The Hammers ', both of these names are related to their original name which was 'Thames Ironworks FC'. On the club badge, you can see two hammers, which relate to the club's industrial past.

Surprised Utd never phased out the devil for something more friendly, they've always been a club trying to crack different territories and especially the U.S of A, wouldnt be surprised if there was discussions about having a devil on the badge being an issue in some countries.

Glad they havent bent to it if they ever had to.
