Never been so happy to be wrong about a kid. Thought he'd be peak as a defender when he first came on to the scene.

I'll eat that L all day.

He will never get this respect at Arsenal. These overrated awards are also linked to trophies.

This guy needs quality around him, don't wanna see him carrying us again next season. Give a great player more great players to play with. Clubs like Villa rely on one great player, let's not go down that road.

Imagine this guy with Sancho on the other flank, or Grealish, lordy lord it would be beautiful.

If he stays at arsenal, he will be next in line to go down as an arsenal legend. Don’t really class anyone In that status post invincible team era, but damn can he do it if he spends his career here.

Exceptional, again.

We need to wrap Saka in cotton wool. Noted Arteta post-match said he was very fatigued. We need him for the next 10 years. Have to find a better way to manage his game time.

Think the whole talent thing is overblown. Players look more talented than others at 17/18 but it’s really about whether they have the ability to translate it into the first team.

Saka might not look as flashy as Odoi, but his decision making and footballing IQ absolutely outsmarts him. I made the comparison to Kimmich in this thread, in his versatility but also in terms of the ability to affect the game wherever he plays.

Gunnerblog said it in his post-match, can't be complacent and assume he'll be here forever. If we're still playing Europa League in 3-4 years time, or not even playing in Europe, you think Saka will just stay cos he's an Arsenal boy? We have a quality player here, the best thing we can do for him is to bring in more quality around him, especially in attack imo.

If edu understand should use Saka Tierney ESR as players he should build team around. Players like Saka even if Arsenal fan he should be shown ambition because if he keep like this it's only matter of time PSG Bayern Real Madrid City want him.

Thank you Freddie for helping to develop and then bringing attention to this beast. Lego Hair probably chased Freddie out for fear of Kroenke finding out who the actual brains at the club was.

God bless Saka. Made all those years of watching youth football hoping for a star to blossom worth it. Hopefully the other young players can be inspired by his perseverance and ambition.

At the end of the day, football is about end product for an attacking player. Flash means nothing at all. Denilson(not our tragic one, the one who played for Betis) was one of the most outrageously talented players ever. He was absolutely unreal technically but he was also a show pony with no IQ. Give me a guy like Saka who may not wow you with a bunch of flashy tricks and flicks but is giving you at least an 8/10 performance every single week. CR7 wasn't the monster that history will remember as an all time great until he learned this and focused on end product over sheer entertainment. Saka already is mature enough to know this which is great.
