TromsoGooner

Obsessed With Looking for Eric
Lot of focus on Balagun (and rightly so, would hate to see see him go) and a lesser extent John JUles but Nicolaj Møller has been really impressive. A goal and three assist yesterday supposedly, only 18. His height makes him a different type of striker than most others, will be very interesting to follow him. Should be given chances in pre season.

U18’s drew with Villa yesterday.

Weird season at that level, no Chelsea dominance and the likes of Palace, Fulham and Villa at the top. Good spread of young talent around the south.

From what I’ve seen Man United have the best group of u18s currently, partly due to them raiding the likes of Derby and Sunderland.

There are some interesting talents for us at U18 level. Omari, Awe and Flores are probably the standouts with Patino already playing for U23’s.

Bandeira is also quality, heard he may be capped for Portugal U21’s soon

Bandeira is a huge darkhorse. Patino the more heralded player but Bandeira looks a very good all-round player. Shades of McGuane when he was here - although his development was slightly stuttered. Big fan of Bandeira though, combative and technical in equal measure.

I’ll be disappointed if Awe or Monlouis don’t make it here.
Monlouis looks really good man. Good feet for his size and good defensive instincts. Just needs a bit more conviction in his defending - looks more convincing on the ball sometimes than he does off it.
I really like Awe though - he's the kind of defender every squad needs. Tall, composed and unflappable. Can play midfield aswell too.

Monlouis starting again tonight for the u23s apparently. Think he’ll make his debut next season if we somehow make Europa, raw but exciting talent.

Haven't seen much of Amani Richards but he's played for Chelsea's U18s already and played for England. Boyhood Gooner. Very interesting.

More interesting is that we're seemingly letting Kieran Petrie go without offering him a scholarship (or he's rejected one). Smacks of the Malcolm Ebiowei situation - very talented looking but ultimately easily let go for "reasons".

The Amani Richards signing is interesting because he is behind Ronnie Stutter at Chelsea (05). Ronnie Stutter was at Arsenal from age of 8 to 15. So interesting to see how both players develop .

A new recruit from Man City. Seems like our next intake will have a few non-Hale Enders!
The Current u16s seem not have as many standout talents just like it happened with the 02 group after the multitude of talents in the 01 group. Sydie Peck and Bradley Ibrahim probably the best but haven't played for u18s and they've already turned 16. I think Jimi Gower is another one but he might be in the group below .The group below has many interesting talents who I'll probably name check next season . Luis Brown, Ismael Kabia, Stanley Skipper (Lampard's nephew) . Notable to note that 6 players have been called up to the national U15s (06 born) recently more than any other club .

Good player?
Pretty good but lots of competition. Was told he wouldn't be getting a pro deal so he's gone to Derby. Decent technically and a very good finisher. Bit similar to Sam Greenwood except the latter was better from deadball situations. Think Khayon Edwards is the better prospect though.
