Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: From Thriller To Bad, Should He Just Beat It?

Haven't been giving this don the respect he deserves, tbh...going full Auba fan girl from now on!

What was is, about 75 goals in first first 2 and a half seasons here, with Arsenal teams that weren't what they used to be, certainly in a attacking sense.

In his 2 full seasons here so far...60 goals, FA Cup and Community Shield, Golden boot winner, PFA Team of the Year, Arsenal player of the season...and this year he will carry us back to Champions League and only 17 goals away from becoming an Arsenal centurion too.

What a guy!
In games that he has no space to run behind, he is useless. We need a creative striker, good with passing, good skills on the ball, help with build up play, auba is not that.

This is how you use Auba. Central, with space to move around to the sides. Both his goals were 1 touch finishes. This is what made him elite.

Yep. He’s a centre forward who likes to run off the shoulder. He’s pretty useless in build up play but incredibly effective with his movement if we’d just release the ball quicker more often.

Not really, you just need a team that works well together.

Getting Ødegaard, after the emergence of ESR, means we have plenty of technical options for the attacking midfield roles now...playing Auba with a bunch of these players is perfect, gets the best out of his skillset.

Maybe a striker more willing to help in the build up play, wouldn't have made Auba's instinctive run to the back post on Thursday in the last minute to win us the game...all players have their strengths and weaknesses.

At least this guy back scoring regularly now. Anything we achieve in Europe he should be 100% involved goal scoring wise

Sure he will start the next line up, since the league has gone tits up anyways this was an opportune time for Mikel to flex his authority.

There's evidence of Wenger handling something similar much better, but I think there will be a line drawn under this and atleast Mikel made the rules clear to the rest of the squad. Just wish he has done that with Willian.

Made the right call today ultimately and hopefully our captain gets his act together.

Someone said it wasn't the first time he has done this. Maybe there is sometimes wiggle room if players are late due to something like an accident.

But if our captain is doing this more than once then dropping him is the right call. Thankfully we didn't end up missing him today.

Or be on time on derby day like the rest of the team that lives in north London

He clearly has the fastest car in the squad tbh
Granted I live out in the countryside where there is practically no public transport, but why have a car like that if you are stuck in the traffic 90% of the time. Seems a horrible waste. Better to just get a chauffeur and relax in the backseat.
