I just want someone who comes in and sets out a play style that is easy on the eye and gets the team used to it. I don't think Arteta even knows what he wants us to do on the pitch at this point.

We need someone who will identify who he sees as his defence and get them used to playing with each other week after week rather than changing it every game. How will we ever get stability that way? Same with the midfield and attack, when have we played the same attack more than once this season? Arteta seems to want to make changes every match for the sake of it.

League is very weak
You were right about keeping him far away as he doesn't deserve the inevitable abuse.

Let these lot figure it out.
I was messing before anyway, wouldn’t want Wenger coming back just to get abused again.

Worrying times though, if this Arteta project, which i wanted and backed, doesn’t work, then I don’t know where we go.

Rafa Benitez most likely as he’s a safe guy, but I don’t think he gets you top 4 or gives you exciting football.

Nobody saving us imo until overhaul in board we changed 2 managers and nothing is working we declining instead. Managers like Rafa is not an answer he'll have honeymoon then things will go to s**t again like mikel and emery. Something much bigger need to change we need people who understand football in club we need a good scouting network edu alone won't work stat DNA won't get you anywhere

Rafa underachievied at Newcastle, a guy with his cv was reduced to blaming mike Ashley all the time and the donut fanbase bought into it.

Rafa made Newcastle more stable even the football was uninspiring but his time at top level clubs is ended

What do people think about Favre?

I would have said Potter as well, but don't think we should chance another project.
Just throw everything Allegri, or if his English is not good, then Rodgers.

Emery's English wasn't good and his league record was better than Arteta's. I think communication is very important, but clearly being a good and experienced manager is more important. Try for Allegri of course, but I'd take Potter or Favre. Why be picky, these are competent and experienced managers. We don't need a fashionable messianic figure, we literally just need some competence and experience, a guy who knows when to make substitutions for example.

Its not lost, there are quality professionals out there who can help us build properly.

We missed a trick with Tuchel, he would have come at a cost but it would have helped us stabilise more. As for options going forward, I maintain that Rangnick as DOF with a high profile option like Nagelsman, Rodgers, Ten Hag, Favre. Or a less prominent but just as capable appointment like Fonseca, Potter, Jardim.

I personally would make the Rangnick appointment immediately and leave Arteta for now.

Genuinely don’t know what we do after Arteta. We’re in a worse position as a club than we were even 12 months ago. We’ve tried a EL specialist who flopped, tried a rookie with history at the club. The elite coaches won’t touch us.

In the words of the great Heavy D, we’re ****ed.

Edu trying to find a new manager. The guy who cant think of transfers unless Kia help him or he finds Raul and Svens old list of names...

Apparently Edu vetoed the Bellingham deal because it wasnt one of Kia agents and not from Brazil.
