I was messing before anyway, wouldn’t want Wenger coming back just to get abused again.

Worrying times though, if this Arteta project, which i wanted and backed, doesn’t work, then I don’t know where we go.

Rafa Benitez most likely as he’s a safe guy, but I don’t think he gets you top 4 or gives you exciting football.

People surely see it now that biggest challenge Wenger faced in his final years was trying to keep it competitive while Gazdisi destroyed everything.

Winning 3 FA Cups while structure around him was designed to work against him is impressive.

We could try a punt on getting Jump Heynckes to come out of retirement. The man has quite the golden touch over his last few years as a manager. The way his teams pressed and dominated oppositions was interesting to watch.

You sack Arteta next week, then you ask Wenger to come back and guide us through to the end of the season.

In the meantime, you hire Rangnick and hopefully he sees reason in hiring Nagelsman, Ten Hag or Fonseca.

Nah, Arsène deserves better than to be a middle man like that, he's one of our greatest legends.

You can't get rid of the man, then ask him to come back after you ****ed up, but only for a short period while we look for someone better...if our boad asked that of Arsène, hope he slaps every one of them

I think we should hire Eddie Howe.

First - he has the experience and was pushing above the weights for most of Bournemoth's tenure in the Premier League.

For me, he seems like is also has a vision - really what Arteta should aim to be.

I want the club to have a vision, not to bend down for the vision of Arteta or whoever comes next. That's how you end up like Manchester United, wasting a ton of money but having not really functional squads that allow you to push to the next level.

Chelsea has gotten away with it thanks to a transfer market expertise no one else has (and they did the Lampard gamble just in time to take advantage of their quality youth system), City's case is well known, Pool didn't bend over for Klopp until they saw he was the real deal AND got a lot of money to do so thanks to Coutinho. Those are teams that don't just crumble when the manager leaves and need to rebuild everything, like United did and like we're currently doing.

He's a good manager, but sadly it is 2021 and he has zero pull. Players would sign for Arsenal based on Wenger's name, Emery has won trophies so players may have believed he could deliver again at Arsenal. With Arteta, you could just about sell the project. No chance top players will be motivated to play for Howe.

Rodgers ticks every box. We’ve tried a foreign EL specialist for a quick fix, we’ve tried a rookie with links to the club. The elite coaches won’t touch us. Rodgers is an overachiever with PL experience, he plays the youth and has an attacking style of play.

Will be the front runner when Teta is gone in December.

Despite the position Leicester are in I've no doubt he'd leave them in a second if he got the chance to manage a club like Arsenal. I don't believe he went to Leicester for anything more than an oppurtunity to work his way back into one of the so called "big clubs". He's still got that ego. Strolling around with the crest on his blazer and being able to call the manager's office his own would be the little things that would satisfy him. Imagine how much he'd love to be the guy who could say he got Arsenal going again.

I was against considering someone like him when Wenger left but he's more than proven how much he can improve a club in the time since then. The only question is whether we'd pay the type of fee it would take to get him?

Yes Rodgers we couldn't have chance when he moved to Leicester after we sacked emery because he was there for few months now we have more chance he made Leicester again more stable more competitive even tho was disappointing they gone out early in europa.

For me I'm more interested to what the club going to do in transfers this summer than hiring new manager our squad still very short in quality in midfield RB wings

Bielsa would lose most of the senior players in the first week after publicly telling them how can they live with themselves for putting in such a mediocre effort while getting a salary of x/ week?😂

Edu trying to find a new manager. The guy who cant think of transfers unless Kia help him or he finds Raul and Svens old list of names...

Apparently Edu vetoed the Bellingham deal because it wasnt one of Kia agents and not from Brazil.
Edu will never support a big name manager coming to Arsenal. He knows either he also gets the sack or his role might get limited.

I’m jealous as hell that Chelsea managed to get Tuchel as their manager.

TT was my favourite to replace Wenger in 2018, he would have been the most perfect candidate.
