Taking into consideration the quality of both teams and their current form, we would be lucky to leave with a draw. Expect them to win to be honest

...the match that changed our season, went from very bad to just bad

ESR and Saka's development this year, has been one of the few good things to happen in this crap season...so glad we have both.

Potential here for a complete embarrassment. With the way Chelsea’s midfield is playing, compared with ours, we’ve already lost that battle. Unless Partey finds his Atletico form we’re in trouble.

If we win this we could still put some pressure on the scummers. They're hardly flying either. Unfortunately I don't see us winning this and we would celebrate a draw or even a narrow defeat like the mid-table team we are.

There wont be, because we will defend deep and play like a relegation team. 1-0 or 2-0 max, or we will scrape something from this.

Boggles the mind that Arteta, Edu and Vinai are still here FFS.

Can we cut out these non event opening threads. Yeah, these games don’t mean a lot but it’s a bit like sulking ffs.

Decided to cheer us on regardless. We’re not too proud to scrap it out against Leeds. Their ‘run in‘ is easier than ours though.

Leeds: Burnley, Southampton, W Brom possible 9 points
Arsenal: Chelsea, Palace, Brighton possible 7 points max

Most likely end up 10th. Haven’t seen an @Riou ’we’re going to get top 4’ for a couple of weeks now. Even optimism has its limits.

This has become a common theme for us.

I remember when we would defend deep and chase shadows against the likes of that peak Barcelona under Pep or those fantastic Bayern teams but we would go toe to toe with the likes of Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool etc. They would be the ones sitting back and attempting to hit us on the break or opting to go for the long ball due to our possession football.

An off form Liverpool came to the Emirates a month ago and they had 65% possession. Just have a look at the stats below:

We’re hitting Burnley territory against these teams and I expect the same against Chelsea too.

If we actually try and play then get battered that's one thing, we all know we've not been good enough this season (with the exception of the odd game) and Chelsea are flying. However, if we set up like the way you're saying, spend 90mins playing like we're relegation material and still lose 2-0 then that, in my opinion, is worse.
