I've only watched the the last 5 minutes and don't know if he is carrying a knock or if he is just gassed but Doig looks like he is running in quick sand in the Scottish Cup Final!

He was clearly injured, he has been subbed off.

Great penalty and then follow up save from Matt Macey.

Kind of interesting. Seen Tavares pop up on the right a lot in his highlight vids. Maybe there is some truth that he plays on the right.

People have said Doig is more highly rated than what Robertson and Tierney were.

This would be a good signing. Pick him up and loan him out for a few years.

He looks a bit better than Robertson did at 19, but isn't at the level Tierney was at that age imo.

Tierney was regularly playing for scotland and obviously one of the best players in the league at 19, don't think doig is quite there yet but he definitely has the potential.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on him. I'd say 3m + loan back (or to a championship team) would be a wise long-term investment. Could do a similar thing with Small. Either would be welcome.

Can use it to emulate Chelsea/City, but we shouldn't spend 5m or more on those type of players, because that is ultimately a big risk (given the laughable fees we get for our players, see Mavropanos).
