Tammy in isolation is not exciting. Him with Saka, Martinelli and ESR is a bit more so.

Ideally, I'd want a better footballer upfront though like Isak, but Tammy is fast, good in the air and can score in this league.
You would only say Abraham is good in the air if you never actually watched him play. His ability in the air is about as non-existent as Auba’s. Maybe even worse.

He will get us goals. Laca will never reliably do that and his play outside of goals isn't even that good, and it isn't the prudentest of options to bank on Auba finding his previous form next season.

As much as we'd like to bring in someone with half the quality of a Van Persie this is what we have to accept in our recovery.

And before any one asks again, no this is not bloody Trilly.

This is exactly what @Trilly would say though...especially if he is trying to "do an Apple" and take over the world!

It's worse because Auba was once the best aerial threat in a league that had Lewandowski in it. He's only become sh*t in the air since he came to us. In the 2 seasons prior, he had more headed goals than Lewa.

His headed goals were literally from 1 yard out. Tap in headers if you were. He isn't good in the air. He just has a high leap, which he can't even time.

I think this @Batman he was heading them in from very close, uncontested, rarely see him win a header from a corner.

Yeah, that's not the worry.

The worry is throwing a lot of money on what can easily be another Nketiah.

Eh?

Abraham is a proven Premier league striker for a top level club already, whilst Nketiah seems more likely to end up in the Championship at some stage!!

Not saying I am excited by the possibility of this signing particularly, but player certainly deserves a bit more credit than he is getting.

If anyone is in doubt about this a couple of seconds in google will confirm that Tammy Abraham has been consistently criticised for his heading ability. It’s one of the biggest conversations about him.
