Not sure really what's wrong with Saka on the LW, rumor is he is a very good player
There is nothing wrong with saka on the lw but we cant expect saka and pepe to play every game. If saka or pepe get injured our other options on the wings are poverty while we already have 5 first team strikers

You're wrong, no?

If one of them gets injured, we may just throw in a towel, we're definitely done for the season if that happens. Saka and Pepe should play every single game if it's possible, we don't have any EL games this season so I think it's doable with some luck. Although Pepe may be off for a month with stupid competition in Africa

We have several academy prospects and some more young talents that we've bought in recent years. There's very little going on in their favour, but I'm hearing Xhaka is staying and Elneny will probably start our first game of the season. When you look at it closely, Arteta is fully addicted to favour age before the talent, something that will cost us in seasons to come once he gets sacked
Yes most managers these days prefer experience than youngsters chelsea fans also bit angry with Tuchel even if they just won the CL they not keeping many youngsters and selling them. i think Arteta want a mix between both and that won't happen quick he has players better than Elneny currently in Lokonga and Willock so he has options and if he start with Elneny then there no escape for him if we again look bad in midfield.

Let's not compare ourselves with Chelsea. One thing is when your youngster can't break into the first team because you have Kovacic, Kante, and Jorginho, the other is when your senior players are Xhaka, Elneny, Bellerin, and Mari but you still send/sell more talented players away because they are not 25 yet.
We are in a completely different situation where the first team is absolutely rubbish and it's never been easier to bin a senior for a youngster. Chelsea, as you've said, just won the CL

Quite the rebuild this summer.

Yep, we'll finish in a similar position this season unless we have an absolutely perfect run with injuries and luck.

Best case for this squad as it stands is maybe fourth. Can't possibly finish above Man C and Man U, and at least one of Chelsea, Liverpool, Leicester will definitely be better than us, even if absolutely everything goes right. More likely we finish 6th to 10th again.

The best we can hope for this season:

* Tierney and Partey get to play consistent football and show us what they're capable of.
* Saka and ESR continue their progression.
* White and Gabriel build a strong partnership.
* Willock finds his place and gives us consistent performances.
* Lokonga goes past Elneny and hopefully Xhaka.
* One of Balogun, Martinelli, Nketiah scores 15+.

If most of that happens then we're well placed for 22/23. But most likely everyone stalls and leaves us looking for a new manager and overhauling the squad yet again.

I know you really believe that, but by all accounts neither you nor your brother know enough about football to be taken seriously

You saying you want us to sign a new midfielder when you know Xhaka is staying shows you know absolutely naff all to be honest. Xhaka doesn't miss games. Partey and Lokonga will rotate. Elneny is extreme backup. If willock stays he needs game time. Do these things not add up in people's heads?

What happens if Elneny starts next to Xhaka against Brentford?
