Why so serieuse?
Messi would make as much sense for us as for anyone else. I think we can guarantee top four with him, so thats 50m of our money back immediately, the remaining 50m we can get from increased merchandise sales. 100m gets him imo

If we still had Wenger we may actually have a snowball's chance in hell. Can't see Messi trusting a sentient bottle of hair dye.

Already tired of small clubs making jokes about Messi signing for them

Psg makes sense. Easier league than Spain, suitable for a player in his twilight years.

If Bouhafsi reliable? Looks like PSG if so.

nearly all reliable sources are saying it.

He will probably have 100 scorers in a season with Neymar and maybe they won't sell Mbappe this summer. More and more a FIFA team.
It's madness. If they lose a game, I think Pochettino should be let go. Truly a ridiculous assembly of talent.

A damn shame that PSG is the only club that can seemingly afford him. Would have been great to see him ply his trade in England, or even Italy (going head to head with Cristiano again) for one of the historic clubs, but PSG is a logical destination given the circumstances.

They give him the best shot for the CL (which seems to be his priority), less demanding league (which will help as he enters the final stage of his career), and he has a bunch of his mates there. Will be surreal to see him team up with Ramos, though, like we're in the twilight zone.

If Pochettino can't win the major trophies with that team serious questions needs to be asked.. That front 3 will be fun, on paper it's perfect.

Indeed. There will be no excuse now for Poch. Will definitely try to watch that team live at the Parc. Messi on the right with Hakimi behind him, that will be lethal as well.

Should, and probably will, get the sack should he be unable to win the CL if Messi joins (possibly even if Messi doesn't join).

That team was already one of the CL favorites last season, but bringing in Donnarumma, Ramos, Hakimi, AND Messi takes them up several levels. Would go down, on paper, as the greatest transfer window in history, especially when you consider that three of them were brought on a free (four if you include Wijnaldum).

If they stay healthy no other team comes close, He should def be expected to win the cl.

Bit of a boring move for me from Messi but can't deny it's some team on paper.

All this to try and stop Lille?

Seriously though, if this goes through and PSG don't win the CL this season then they never will.

Although their wages bill is going to balloon, all in all, they have spent 60M in transfer fees, the amount they paid for Hakimi. This is pretty amazing by any stretch.

Lost a sausage bet on Xhaka 😭
City can afford him I think if they forgo Harry Kane. Kane’s transfer fee + wages would surely be more than whatever Messi would demand for 2-3 years.
