Mikel Arteta: Managerial Royalty

League is very weak
For at least 2 seasons, Arteta was a very good deep playmaker for Arsenal, especially for a Top 4 team.

Looking back, Arsenal fans had delusions of grandeur back then...they couldn't accept we weren't a title winning team anymore and were just a Champions League team...so certain players weren't as appreciated as they should have been.
What you waffling on about now?

Lol no way I let this pass. We went from Cesc Fabregas to Arteta to Santi playing a playmaker role.... spot the odd one out

Btw @Riou solid opinions by that guy

Think I saw one of this guy's vids on YouTube before, was playing a load of old FIFAs.

What you waffling on about now?

The way so many demanded Arsène to be sacked, it's the only reason I can think of...they couldn't let go of the club we used to be, v the club we became after the stadium move.

Admit you watch him because he's cute smh
I'm familiar with the lad, I used to watch those silly FIFA let's play channels and his is one of the more popular ones in the U.K. But this particular one happened a long time after I had stopped doing that. Probably YouTube algorithm doing its thing.

We weren’t getting top 4 because of Arteta.

He was basically Xhaka where he’s acceptable if you have world class teammates like RVP, Giroud, Özil, Santi and Alexis around him but take those away and you’re struggling.

He was Xhaka with better discipline, which is a solid player. And a solid player is basically what he was.

Arsenal emailed to offer me a season ticket. Not sure if I should take it. Childhood dream come true, but I don't know anyone else who also wants to buy it. Anyone ever go to games on their own?
Take it, and make the biggest ArtetaOut you can and throw it directly to his face. Best thing you could do for the team. Be sure you are recorded so the dictator can't censorship it.

Mikel couldn't have joined us at other point before 2011, tbh.

He was an attacking midfielder, we had Cesc in that time...he joined us at the right time.

Haha

Turns out it wasn't a permanent season ticket, but the chance to "loan" a season ticket from someone else for the year and then return it in time for next season. It's apparently because of people being hesitant to go to matches due to covid. Something tells me that may only be half the story..

Either way, a little insulting. I should have known there was a catch given the way Arsenal conduct themselves now days

The players don't trust him anymore, it's clear as day. In addition, he's managed our young players who actually LOVE this club HORRIBLY! (Willock, Nelson, AMN, Balogun, etc).
He destroyed a whole generation of young players. Get him out before he does even more damage. Before he destroys Patiño, Flores and Azeez.

Arsenal Quotes

What does Arsenal mean? It means class. The structure of the Club, everything has a classy feel about it. It isn't always about success, there is more than that and this is what makes it a cut above the rest.
