We looked slightly okay against the worse team in the league. Every one keep harping on about our "30 shots" but if you watched the game you can't help but feel that we looked poor for most of the game. Up until last season when they beat us at home 1-0 can't really seem to remember the last time Burnley beat us. Hopefully Arteta doesn't break any new record.

When did we do this in the last 10 years . And what team does this routinely in the league?

The past tends to get exaggerated.

These are the results of the Invincibles team against the 3 promoted teams that year :

1-1 Portsmouth
1-1 Leicester
3-0 Wolves
3-1 Wolves
1-1 Portsmouth
2-1 Leicester

The Invincibles scored 5 goals in a game once all of that season.

I mean, sure, there are some games where we blew away bad teams when we were more dominant. But it was never a regular occurrence to be winning games 5-0.

Stupid to continually change the two centrebacks. If Mikel has faith in White-Gabriel then it's best to let them grow together.
So play three at the back. Stupid to play White who's already been shown to be lacking in the air in a game where we will face an aerial assault.

It will be a testing game but the worst thing we could do is to start chopping and changing the back 4, really set us back doing that last season continually. Pick a defence and stick with it, it's the only way they'll grow and hopefully improve.

Please Arsenal, don't be Burnley's first win of the season...keep them in the relegation zone.

And keep us out of it too!

We haven't conceded that many to Burnley's set pieces, certainly not as much as you would think Arsenal from 2016 on would concede to them.

So we can defend against their crossing, up to Arteta to get the team right.

An acid test for the new joiners - Ramsdale, White, Tomi, Lokonga. Esp for the latter two for obvious reasons.

The Invincibles didn't lose 5-0 to anyone or lose three games in a row.
Are we supposed to put White on the bench every time we face someone thats strong in the air?
No. We can keep him on the pitch and watch him raped as we lose the game.

There’s absolutely no way we should ever move to a back 3 because of a perceived weakness in a £50m CB. If that’s what happens every time we face an average team with a big lump up front then it’s the most spectacular transfer fail of all time.

We beat Burnley 5-0 in our greatest managers last home game in charge. Maybe you weren’t interested at the time but I was thinking wtf have our fans done. And here we are near the bottom of the table after 2 mid table finishes.

Wonder if the plan this season is a 433 with Smith Rowe and Ødegaard as the 8s. We've only seen it against Villareal, where it was disastrous, and the other day against Norwich. Maybe that's the reason we signed a defensive RB?

I have massive doubts but if Arteta can get that sort of system functioning it theoretically should give us far more options in the final third. Let's see.

It doesn't look like Arteta's getting sacked so let's win the next 2 games, starting with this one 2-0.

Ødegaard is useless in a 4-3-3.
