League is very weak
Is Aguero even better than Van Nistelrooy? Ian Wright has scored as many goals in nearly as many games too. I don’t see it.
Drogba was more than a goal scorer. Turned up for the big times and Aguero can only dream of making such an impact.
Aguero got his tap ins while City were winning 5-0 against West Brom, meh.
Love how you were also the guy who also said that Drogba v Aguero would be a good debate
Carrick and Brown wouldn’t even make City’s squad team

Just as Wenger joined. I mainly watched international football, CL football, Serie A on Channel 4, Dutch football late at night on Channel 5 when they would also show these weird soft porn type movies, one minute they are in a castle and the next minute 2 women are having sex.@GDeep™
When did you start watching Arsenal...was it pre Wenger?
I myself will never financially recover from missing out on 90s football, especially the 1998 World Cup...think that's the best football event of all time.

Psychological warfare, big up an opponent up the pressure on him while not giving him any headlines to give him extra motivation. You guys honestly think Carrick is in Busquets class? Or that Pep thinks that. Phil Jackson was great at these type of mind games with opponents where he uses the media to up the expectations on the opponent. You don’t honestly think they tell the press honest answers? Manager quotes are always suspicious to me because they actually try to hide the ball.Pep on Carrick: ''He is one of the best holding midfielders I've ever seen in my life, by far. He's the level of Xabi Alonso and Sergio Busquets.''
If he is on that level in Pep's view then Pep will start Carrick ahead of Rodri or at least good enough to make it to City's team.

He was great I just don’t class him at Busquets or Xavi Alonso or even Fernandinho. Again this very subjective one way or the other which is why I believe you judge the strength of the league based on how pl has fared in European competition. This 3-4 years is the strongest period in terms of performance in Europe since late 70s and early mid 80s. Otherwise we are left comparing opinions of players. If English teams are down then why have we had two all English finals in CL in 3 years when none of the great teams of 90s or 2000s managed it even once? You judge the league in competition in biggest European events otherwise it’s completely subjective with no real way to measure.Carrick was GREAT for Utd. That’s not up for debate. Forget what Pep said or didn’t say, Carrick won 5 titles and a European Cup for Ferguson.
You can go around in circles. I’ll say to you Europe was strong between 1990-2015, but there has been a decline elsewhere rather than an uplift in English teams. Serie A has been declining, there are no top Italian teams. Barcelona haven’t built a team so since Pep left, have been disgraceful in recent years. The Real Madrid cycle of Varane, Modric, Kroos, Marcelo etc has come to an end.He was great I just don’t class him at Busquets or Xavi Alonso or even Fernandinho.
