on if our goal drought affects Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future...

"We have scored a lot of goals recently, but it's true in the last four games we haven't done it. Today, again, it's not about the situation you are able to create, but the quality of the execution and the number of shots that you need to put on target to beat teams like Burnley".

From Arteta's interview after the game. More or less admitting we're ****e up front. Time to bring back Aubameyang

top teams create more chances hence they score more goals. We dont create enough chances with his football and he is saying it doesnt matter as long as you take the chances you create. But he is counting on having the best convertion rate which is stupid

Exactly. We can’t afford to miss any chance as we don’t create enough. Lacazette isn’t clinical and we don’t get enough goals from other areas of the pitch.

Someone whether that be Auba or Mikel needs to come out and explain what is happening next. This whole obscurity doesn't help anyone.

If he is leaving open up and say we have different opinions and there may be the potential to leave. If it's all sorted say its sorted.

This whole is he going to Dubai.....oh he wasn't able to be selected today etc etc rubbish.

Auba can’t say anything. He doesn’t select the team. Arteta is the one who is pushing him out. Once you fall out with him you gone. Guendouzzi after the Brighton loss never made the squad again

This is why is is such an unlikable person. Auba is our player, our best striker and until 6 weeks ago our captain. And now this weasel think he is fergie trying to act like he owns the place. I hope Auba stays and tell him fvck off

Problem is that our "best striker" has been pretty disappointing ever since he signed his contract....... he is at the stage of his career where you cannot expect us to rely on him for much longer. Auba staying and Arteta leaving just means Auba becomes a headache for our next manager to solve. Just like Özil.

I would say even now Auba is past it. He is better striker than Arteta is a manager. Arteta leaving is best for everyone

We need Auba back and playing.. he is a billion times the player Eddie is, Arteta needs to put his ego away and bring Auba back into the team.

Even if his form is not amazing, he is so much better than Eddie, who just goal hangs all game

Ornstein saying he’s unlikely to be on the Dubai trip. Looks like it’s over because that would’ve been the perfect place to reintegrate him.

I don't see the point in bringing Auba back now - he doesn't function in Arteta's teams anyway. Laca has always been a better fit.
Auba is the reason our fraudulent manager is in a job, if it weren't for his red hot form and FA Cup win in 2020 not even the Kroenkes could've kept this dickhead on until now.

First it was Auba's goals, then we looked like **** for months until ESR came back from injury and gave us that extra impetus, then we went back to **** until Martinelli did the same for a short while. It's not sustainable, Arteta is the definition of a chequebook manager in other words completely useless because anyone can spend.

Inshallah this will be the last time he pulls a lifeline out of his arse, Vlahovic not signing for us could be him saving our hides. We turned into Liverpool under Dalglish ffs.

There is a legendary Adebayor story: Towards the end of his time at Arsenal when he was playing like trash and was effectively on strike by being almost motionless thorough games, an angry fan accosted him at the airport and said "Hey, youre being paid 90K a week and you're doing nothing". Ade replied "No mate thats completely incorrect....Im on 125K a week" and walked off.

So seems Auba isn't heading to Dubai. There's clearly been a mutual decision that he should leave the club.

That means we have Laca and Eddie for the rest of the season. Short on strikers and short on CMs. Any good work that has been done will literally just be cancelled out when we end up ab 8th this season again due to lack of options in both positions and under performing players.

Lukaku was bought in for 100m and in a recent interview literally said he'd love to play for Inter again and pissed off the Chelsea fanbase

Tuchel had a convo with him and then it was water under the bridge because he knew his potential contribution to the team was more important to the club than their potential fued.

This weirdo has small man syndrome just to show the world he is the boss he will deliberately leave our squad weakened to make a point instead of working around the limitations of COVID/AFCON/Injuries etc.

I'm not saying Auba hasn't been in bad form or does not warrant punishment, but when you know the squad is stretched thin just use him until the summer when you will sell him off anyway. The chances of him regaining form are much higher than Laca/Nketiah
