With his wages, there is probably no question of a fee. The club will be content to get him off the books without having to contribute to his wages. No doubt the Saudis can afford that, Barca? Not so sure.

I really dont think Auba will accept just to cancel his contract and go on free. He has 18 months left on his 350k week deal. This is becoming like Özil situation and we may have to pay significant amount of his remaining wages

Taremi is a good striker and scored a worldie against Chelsea in the CL but he's almost 30. These links are getting silly now.

League is very weak
I beg to differ on that one. Wenger absolutely idolised his job and towards the end would have done virtually anything to hang on to it, even long after knowing himself that he was past it. He was addicted to the job and the power trip it gave him.
He wanted to quit after his last FA Cup win and the club begged him to stay. Doesn’t sound like someone with a power trip.

His only weakness and surely regret is that he loved the club too much. Probably the last of the long reigning managers.

Citation needed.

He was also supposedly close to leaving in 2007 with Real Madrid and Juventus interested in him. Do you know why it never happened? Because he had too much power, authority and free reign to pretty much do as he pleased at Arsenal. Luxuries he wouldn’t have had at those clubs. Why would he leave Arsenal for Real Madrid when he knows he could’ve got sacked within 5 months if he wasn’t getting results? This is the main reason he turned those clubs down and stayed at Arsenal. It wasn’t about loyalty and putting the club first.

We know why he never left around 2007 though? David Dein told us, after our stadium change the bank wanted a guarantee he would remain manager for 5 years, before they gave us the loan.
