Want to revise this assessment?...100% that new-born is already a better keeper than Runarsson.

I was wondering when this was gonna get bumped. Too early to judge of course but this guy looked hopeless I can’t even lie.
He’s an Arsenal fan though. This guy is 28????? I thought he was some kid. This is actually insulting to the fanbase if this guy is seriously gonna be 2nd choice. Disgraceful tbh.

You excited about Trusty?
i dont really mind a **** backup if the #1 an established star (although why not HG?)
its a bit odd after seeing Ramsdale post Jan + his lower midtable vibes
Think most are just concerned that we spent 7-8m on a player we could have found in the championship or league 1 for half the price. He's had 1 stinker and you lot are already killing him.
Give him more minutes and judge him based on that.
True but plenty of guys, particularly GKs have managed it. Keller, Friedel, Howard and Guzan all had pretty long, respectable PL careers. This kid might just suck unfortunately. Or maybe hopefully it was just nerves.Think most are just concerned that we spent 7-8m on a player we could have found in the championship or league 1 for half the price.
Hopefully he turns out OK but wouldn't hold much hope for it. MLS or whatever to PL is some jump. Much more than moving from lower English football or Scotland even.
Probably like signing for Arsenal from Linfield.
Yeah but the odds would suggest picking players from the MLS later in their careers (yes 28 isn't exactly old for a keep but isn't young either) isn't going to yield much success. The first 3 keepers you mentioned were knocking around 20 years ago. In the last 10 years how many have made the jump from MLS to PL?True but plenty of guys, particularly GKs have managed it. I totally agree. Like that Steffen kid at City is I believe rated higher within the USMNT setup than Turner and he's nothing special so no earthly idea why he's just been handed the backup role with no experience against proper competition but we are run by ******. Maybe he'll shock everyone and come good or maybe next summer we'll be looking for another replacement.Yeah but the odds would suggest picking players from the MLS later in their careers (yes 28 isn't exactly old for a keep but isn't young either) isn't going to yield much success. Hopefully he does provide a decent back up option and anyone can make a mistake. But if he's doing that in friendlies wouldn't want him with 60,000 fans depending on him.
