Really looking forward what our alternative for Raphinha so far there no clear name yet.

Arsenal fans on Twitter going silly about us having chance getting sane because bayern considering sell high profile this summer.

Is Michael Olise the answer? Ā£35million release clause, cover for Saka and I think he will be good mezzala too.

Great player, agree on the notion he can play wing or midfield aswell but I'd be shocked if they went for him. Seems a bit too early in his trajectory for an Arsenal move. Don't see him ever joining us tbh.

My guesses are one of Diaby, Torres, Asensio, Szobszlai, Zaha, Sarr, Pulisic.

Olise is class. He's gonna be a wonderful player (he's already very good). Think his future is centrally though, but he would be an excellent bit of business. But since we have Vieira who operates in pretty much the same positions I doubt Olise is on our agenda.

I liked Raphinha as a winger cos everything about the profile felt right. No one else really grabs me. Iā€™d rather wait 6-12 months tbh and focus on midfield. We simply need a quality midfielder, Tielemans or Paqueta.

I'd love Zaha tbf. But doubt we're going for him.

What we need is a Xhaka upgrade and a Partey backup. We know Xhaka has his moments, but he's very limited and doesn't really excel in any areas except passing when he has tons of time. Very good backup/rotation though. Partey was barely injured before he joined us, but seems like the dreaded Arsenal curse has well and truly hit him. If we got another class DM/CM in we could also play Partey further up the pitch in the LCM role.

Another spot I am quite worried for is RB. Tomiyasu is class, but like Partey and Tierney he seems to be injured a lot. The backup in Cedric is a major drop off. We've addressed the issue with Tierney, but unless the plan is to use White as a backup for Tomi I'm not convinced of the other options unless we're willing to give Norton-Cuffy/Walters some minutes.

So for me I'd go for a DM + a RB backup. Dream signings would be Declan Rice and and Kyle Walker-Peters/Tariq Lamptey.

Weā€™re signing Zinchenko to be our starting LB and a cover for midfield. Then if all goes well weā€™ll bring in a winger/wide forward, but I have no idea who that could be. Not a guarantee though, so Zinchenko could also be our last major signing.

Also a chance we'll sign a Mari replacement now that our LB won't cover CB

Diaby Zaha Sarr and Asensio in market. My choice is still Zaha. Diaby the Bundesliga tax concerns me
I'd take Asensio. He banged in 10 league goals last season, best season he's ever had goal-wise I think, and by quite some distance. There's a top player there, he comes from a winning culture, and he's at a really good age. Reckon we could get him for Ā£30-40m.

Honestly wouldn't be upset with any of the other 3 though.

We missed the boat on Zaha. Letā€™s not look backwards but forwards. Thereā€™s plenty of wide options out there. We were willing to spend Ā£60 on Raphina so we can definitely find a good option. Olise, Diaby, Doku, Suelmana, Pedro Neto, Noa Lang, Madueke etc.
Arteta wants a 1v1 specialist with good decision making and doesnā€™t need an overlapping fullback to be effective.

I highly doubt we will be looking for Mari replacement. We have White, Gabriel, Saliba and Holding. 4 CBs plus Tomiyasu for the cover. No reason to splash more in this area.
I will rather have money spent on getting a winger or Tielmans to strengthen the depth.

Ramsey had a purple patch season for goals with us but I doubt Juve are glad they purchased him off the back of it....

Part of me hopes he stays at Palace for a while - want to see what Vieira does with them, they could build a really good side with some of the signings they've brought in. Another 8, CB & RB and they could be trouble for other teams.

After Zinchenko it does look like a forward will be our next target and and very likely our last piece of business this summer(unless we see a key player exiting later on).
Considering Raphinha was the priority, you would think we are prepared to go big here.

We know Gakpo has been followed by the club. Paqueta has admirers at the club and while some have discounted him because they see him as a midfielder, let's not forget his versatility. He can play across the front 3 easily. We'll see if we hear more names in the future.

Arsenal Quotes

I've got the best goalkeeper and the best centre half. All I need are the best wingers and the best forward. It doesnt matter what the rest are like.
