I agree with you anyway, almost nothing about it relates to football.

If you want more conspiracies, this whole thing seems like an attempt to avoid discussion of his subpar world cup performances. Go back a couple of pages and is a moderator on Snack Media's payroll who started this debate.

As it stands now I think the media has an evil agenda to portray saka as wholesome, guys that like saka have an agenda to use his baby face as a weapon if his performances go south, the haters have an agenda to extrapolate his baby face to “on the pitch moisture” (?) and Kante is not a good example of anything.

I agree with this entirely. I do also think it’s just part of the deal of leading a life in the public eye though… Bukayo is not the first to have to deal with it and won’t be the last.

Concerned/annoyed are strong words, it’s more something you notice and have a cynical laugh at as things could be worse.

There’s a way you’re “supposed” to behave as a black footballer and when you conform to it you’re basically treated like a “good good boy” when you don’t you’re treated like Pogba/Sterling/Rashford and so on. It’s strong “you’re one of the good ones” type energy.

People think we’re complaining but if Saka wanted to break the wholesome image it’s a very easy thing for him to do.

Nose piercing, dye his hair blonde, some of these guys getting defensive will prob turn on him

It’s interesting, Foden is married I think? Definitely has kids, cheats when he’s abroad, has his mum fight his scuffles on his behalf… sounds like a piece of **** really but look - he’s on the same international stage as Saka.

Ask City fans if they would swap Foden for Saka they would laugh. No one will make him conform either.

So I was right in my earlier response to nacho then. I agree, it’s a problem.

It’s interesting for me because I don’t like arrogance or overt displays of power and wealth, so I have natural dislike for anybody who fits the bill. But I definitely notice a difference in the way that sections of the media treat black people who do it vs white people.

I’m just going to say it because, I think it does have an effect on how you experience the world. I’m half white and half Indian, so that’s my background if you care to take what I say at face value. I’ve experienced racism a few times in my life, mainly at school, but not enough for it to ever really feature in my mind on a daily basis.

City fans won't exchange Saka for Foden because he is from their academy and they believe he is a better talent lol. Why the **** would Saka get a nose piercing or dye his hair if he doesn't want to? To prove a point to weirdos on here that the media will turn on him? You talk about individuality and you're pressed that Saka is a wholesome well rounded person from a good home? Saka acts the way a young man with his head screwed on straight would, I doubt he cares about the media agendas, it's his family and friends that count.
