Every other update makes it sound like a deal is imminent. This one says that Arsenal have told Shakhtar how far they’re willing to go, which would suggest they’re not budging from their demands.
But other updates have also earlier told that Arsenal has an upper limit to the total fee, based on how they estimate the player's value, and they won't budge on that?

I was so hyped for this transfer. Not anymore. Couldn't care less if this doesnt happen now. Arsenals sucking the enjoyment out of you with all negotiations and ****. It was the same with Jesus. We knew we signed him and they stalled for 3 weeks before announcing him.

Shaktar aren't budging either. So, either we pay what they want or walk away already. Just wasting time.

The update in my opinion says that Arsenal are not budging anymore, and are done with haggling mostly. They need the deal to be done, or they move on. Now it's time for Shakhtar to show their hand in this poker game.

Do they call the bluff and wait until summer, or do they agree that it's best for everyone to do the deal now, even if they get 5-10 million less than they demanded.

Imagine him and Ødegaard in the team shower.

That's a loan to marseille waiting to happen.

Yeah, I hate to go against the blondes being dirty blonde myself but these two will be the last ones out of the shower, for one reason or another

SportArena said last night a deal was nearly done.

The Brazilian manager intends to close the purchase of winger Mykhailo Mudryk . There are still disagreements between the clubs, but the parties are close to completing a deal.

SportArena, Romano and Watts all said the add-ons still need to be sorted. The breakthrough or getting closer comments are all based on the fixed amount being agreed. Most seem to think a compromise will be reached there.

When a deal is actually close this is how it’s presented:
Why are Arsenal briefing against foreign reports? It can only mean that they’re trying manage expectations because there’s a real enough possibility that the deal could collapse.
