Might have sent off Romero and should have sent off Richarlison after the final whistle - tbf not sure if he saw that. Other than that he had a good game in that he did not affect the result.

This would be great! Newcastle wastes time against top teams so there's like 55 minutes when the ball is in play. Others do it too, Arsenal also when leading.

It ruins the game when it happens so much, so hopefully they manage to decide something like this.

We all saw the additional time in the World Cup, and I'm pretty sure that's closer to the truth.

Must be why he's an ex-referee. Talks too much sense. It's no coincidence that Pawson not actively trying to f*ck us in conjunction with our overall superiority led to the battering that it did. Some of these teams are only even within sniffing distance of us in a match because the referees are keeping them there. A performance of the standard that Pawson had on Sunday by the ref against Newcastle and we'd have won comfortably.

No team charged for gang-banging the referee last weekend?

How about taking the charge back that we got and giving us an apology and allowing us to take our penalties against Newcastle and Southampton for a maximum of 4 points if we score against each?

For Var but there needs to be a consistent use and no grey areas.

Also it would be good to have the refs with microphones so that when there is a contentious decision we can hear an open dialogue like in rugby.

It will never happen but it just screams corruption when some decisions are made and others aren't.

It would make the refs look worse. The Man U offside goal linesman gave offside and told ref this and someone in var room told him he wasn’t interfering with play. So the real ref is in the car room and his word is above the line and actual ref if he is told to do something

I think they just opening themselves for more criticism
