That was our most dreadful performance in the league since that collapse at Newcastle at the backend of last season.

It is imperative we win this or doubts will start to creep and there can be no doubt in a title race especially against City, a declining one, nonetheless, otherwise when doubt creep in, especially in a young side like ours, you have yourself another title bottle job. But we should see off Brentford at home fairly easily.

Just let ESR come back slowly, he can become important later on. Like Jesus, the coming games are doable with a much smaller squad. It's April where things get tricky.

And then hope he can get rid of these recurring injuries.

It's still the truth whether they want to think that way or not. We effed up (Mikel effed up) and paid for it. Luckily City didn't take advantage but if we lose the league by a point or two I know which game will have been to blame.

No. Just. No.

8 days between games and people here moaning ffs. Partey wasn’t injured. If he was, he wouldn’t have played. We got outplayed by a team on a new manager hype. It happens. Stop making up theories and passing them off as “the truth”. At least say it’s your opinion or sth fs

Don't be naive. You think Arteta takes Partey off in a vital game we are struggling to control because he wants to give Jorginho a tryout? He wasn't 100% fit, he was a doubt but he played. He was less effective due to the injury and ended up being subbed.

Yes. Frankly it doesn’t even make the 5 weirdest sub decisions Arteta has made. It’s not exactly his strong suit. Meanwhile there has been absolutely no indication from the club or any reporters that partey was brought off for injury concerns. But yeah, you do you I guess.

There was every indication before the game that he wasn't fit and his play and substitution bore that out.

Just saw the training pics - Partey is there? As is Reiss Nelson, which was a bigger surprise, didn't realise he was back in full training.

Don’t you realise the club employ player doubles so the opposition set up their team on the assumption that injured players will be playing. There is some real CIA stuff going on under Edu. They have drones flying around Colney so they if spot Bielsa with a pair of binoculars they can fire a missile at him.

Can't help but feel as though there's a portion (even on AM, no less) who will see it exactly as a fluke

I've read many times on here already - and even recently - about how lucky we are/have been up until now. Leicester-esque, etc.

There's any element of luck in every result anyhow. What's undoubtable except to the most ignorant is that we are a very serious team. If we win the league, it will be because we deserved it.
Any team that wins the league deserves it.

Not sure I've ever read a more nonsensical post.

It was well publicised that Arsenal switched from drones to spy balloons over their training ground in line with their new carbon-neutral policy.
