Loool how isn't he an upgrade to ESR? You guys are starting to overhype ESR. Ødegaard and Aouar are better 10s than ESR.

Would be an upgrade on ESR and Ødegaard.

He can play as a 10 but Arteta will be moving to a 4-3-3 anyway so yeah. Creativity is a big priority...we need 2 creative midfielders...a CM and either a 10 or an LW. Preferably one experienced and a prospect.

I would accept this if it means we make a big signing like Grealish/Aouar and a young midfielder like Olise. We do need a big signing at LW or CF.

Aouar/Ødegaard and Olise should be our plan B after Grealish.

Ødegaard is a better 10 than ESR. More creative, far better final pass, etc.

Arteta hasn't been fair to this guy. When he finally got into form - he gets dropped. I think it's obvious to anyone with eyes that he needs a run of games to get his groove. Pepe is talented. I think we've been too harsh on him

We could get Soumare since Guendouzi is personal non grata in Arteta's eye.

Olise top of my list.

I think we should get Ødegaard on loan, a top class LW(Grealish) and Edouard(he's available for 15m). If we can't get Ceballos on a permanent deal, get Soumare or something. Realistic departures include Laca, Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Torreira, Guendouzi and maybe Willock. We don't need another...

Put some good slide rule passes but later started that bad habit of his taking too many touches. He had a good game but can do better attacking wise. I don't think his defensive work gets talked about enough.

Still not fully match fit but clearly superior to ESR as a 10. Shades of a young Özil not just on the ball but off it. He understands how to manipulate space. Imagine Grealish instead of ESR in that 3 behind Auba...we'd make top 4 easily. Retain this guy for another year on loan. Send Ceballos...

Play 3 creative players behind him and this is what you get. Otherwise, stick him on the left with a CF with good link/hold up play.

In an ideal world, we get him or another AM(Aouar, De Paul, etc) AND someone like Grealish. He's shown the type of AM we need in midfield.
