its a positive for pennant if wenger is experimenting with him. might well get his chance this year. although he might be too small to get away with playing upfront in a premiership game, but we'll see. its all about flexibility and versatility in a match. mixing up the starting positions adds to the deception.

i think Wenger is playing Pennant up front to give him that feel on how run through defences like Freddy and also come into the centre like Pired does. Eventually his real position is RM but maybe Wenger is trying to teach these attributes.
