Why didn't Akpom go on loan as advised by Jonker or at least have Sanogo's place in the first team? When watching Akpom you can clearly see his a level above the other players. However when you I've seen Sanogo play for U21s and he doesn't really stand out, in fact most of the goals I've seen him score look scuffed/lucky.
There was talk of him joining Feyenoord on loan towards the end of the move, with Arsenal pulling out of the deal after Giroud got injured. But then we signed Welbeck.

Hopefully he could still go in January? Maybe he could go to a Championship club in the mean time, their loan window is still open. He looks good enough to play for any of them.

Interesting article on Hayden

<a class="postlink" href="http://outsideoftheboot.com/2014/09/14/scout-report-isaac-hayden-arsenals-exciting-young-versatile-player/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://outsideoftheboot.com/2014/09/14/ ... le-player/</a>

Given that we failed to strengthen our defense adequately, we might see more of him this season. Will be very interesting to see how it works out.

Criminal this guy hasn't been given more of a chance, great ball from Zelalem for the second

That second goal looked tasty. He rode a good solid shoulder and even off balance got a delicious touch to put it away. TBH I couldn't see Welbeck of Sanogo tuck it away like that

Excellent goal by Zelalem - slaloming run into the box and powerful short range finish. 1-0 Arsenal in the 45th min

Crowley looks amazing, been our best player so far. Do we think he'll make it here?

He's held in very high regard so you would think so......he's a bit like Wilshere.

2-0, we're all over them.

make that 3! Willock

Nice work by Tafari Moore down the left to give Kaylen Hinds a tap in to make it 2-0.

Wow, a deflected Iwobi cross is put away really well by Willock a minute later for 3-0. Arsenal absolutely dominating.

Yeah he's obviously talented but it's probably harder than ever to make it through the academies here. Especially if you're a playmaker. Wilshere was playing in the Premier League for us from the age of 16.

That was Zelalem's best game I've seen him play for Arsenal. Gedion, Crowley and Iwobi were all fantastic.

Is Willock any good? Seems to crop up with a good amount of goals.

Zelalem's goal looked quality: <a class="postlink" href="https://twitter.com/TSBible/status/517326316992208896" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://twitter.com/TSBible/status/517326316992208896</a>
