Amazing strike, in the 92nd minute as well... What a ******* boss.

Has anyone ever scored such an amazing array of flamboyant goals?
DB10 perhaps?

****.

I'm quietly confident we'll have a magnificent season. RVP watching us lift a trophy would be the icing on the cake.

Francesco Totti.

I think Henry has a more spectacular compilation than Bergkamp.

Ronaldinho is the sort of player who has me on the floor in laughter because of how outrageously gifted he is.

"Play for the name on the front of the shirt, and they'll remember the name on the back."
-- Credited to Tony Adams, probably in the late 1990s or so. But I just discovered that he wasn't the first to say something like this.

"You're looking for players whose name on the front of the sweater is more important than the one on the back. I look for these players to play hard, to play smart and to represent their country."
-- Herb Brooks, coach of the U.S. hockey team that shocked the Soviet Union and then won the Gold Medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Also, 1950s UCLA football coach Red Sanders said, "Football is not a matter of life and death. It's much more important than that." A decade or so before Bill Shankly said it. I seriously doubt that these two men ever heard of each other.

Your point?

For what it matters, i think the quotes are entirely different. The first coach is saying to play for the team which is what several coaches and players have said, where as Adams goes one step further and says that in doing so, you have more chance of making a name for yourself and being respected.

Great goal, although keepers are always at fault when a goal is scored direct from a corner.

Youtube took it down but here is a gif for those who havent seen it.

in what purple haze did you see ronaldo as an ex-gunner?

If you read the last couple of posts carefully I’m sure you’ll see that the discussion wasn't necessarily about Ex-Gunners but rather players with a knack of scoring spectacular goals hence why people mentioned Totti and Ronaldinho and I thought I’d make a case for a certain Ronaldo who wasn’t too shabby when it came to scoring all kinds of goals.

No need to thank me. :)

Henry's was better than Ronaldinho, Henry curled it round to the far post which is harder to do and the keeper and guy on line were more * for Ronaldinho

Going to see him tonight, as the Red Bulls face top of the (Eastern Conference) table Kansas City. He thinks the key is his ex-Barca teammate, who could end up in that Most Mental Players thread.

Ordinarily, I would agree with Henry, but... he must see something in Marquez that the vast majority of Metro supporters have not seen. Most of what he's done for us has been harmful.

Song's last interview.

“It was hard to convince him and say goodbye because he really helped me and my family when I arrived at Arsenal when I was 17.

But when you want to leave, the club cannot say no. A chance like this only happens once in a lifetime and you must take it.”

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/song-leaving-arsenal-was-hard-but-i-want-trophies/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.insidespanishfootball.com/so ... -trophies/</a>

I guess even this will not stop people from blaming club for transfer.

Further proof that Agents can talk all they want about "player X left because he didn't get a new contract at his club Y" - in the end, everyone and his dog knows why Song left.

Not that I'm bitter or so, I've never thought we'd miss him.

Thierry Henry with 3 assists and a goal today

Doing his best Bergkamp impression with the assists and a lobbed goal.
